    Forbidden medications would include pork,gelatin, or alcohol.

    Adjust dosages for sensativeaties.

    There are five main steps in preparing a

    Muslims body for burial

    1. WASHING THE BODY- can only be done by thesame sex as person being wash unless it ishusband/wife or child/parent

    2. WRAPPING THE BODY- shroud is used for

    wrapping the body must be aclean (preferably white) cloth and should coverthe whole body. It is tied at the head and feet,with a piece of cloth in a way that one candifferentiate the head from the feet

    3. PRAYERS- the body is placed in front of the

    congregation. The opening chapter of the Quran,

    Islams revealed text, is read quietly. The entirefuneral prayer is performed while standing

    4. FUNERAL PROCESSION -Mourners walk in frontof or beside the body. Silence is recommended.

    5. BURIAL-The body is laid in the grave. Nocasket is used unless there is a need for it.
