CDS ICV Benchmarking Survey 2013
Resulted in Three Major Conclusions and Observations:
Companies are confident that their programs’ benefits significantly outweigh the costs.
Different from 2012, there appears to be an increase in multinational project teams.
The major benefit for the sponsoring companies is enhancing the skills of the volunteers, especially leadership development.

CSC South Africa: Partnership Development & Training
BackgroundRuliv is an organization ofmultidisciplinary professionals whichprovides multi-disciplinary servicespertaining to all aspects rural and urbandevelopment. The aim of the project is toimprove rural livelihoods (social, human,physical, natural and financial capital)through the production of sorghum, bothin terms of quantity and quality in orderto establish food security at householdlevel and also uplift the socio-economicwell-being of the rural communities.
