“The things that Picasso and I said to one another during those years will never be said again, and even if they were, no one would understand them anymore. It was like being roped together on a mountain.”
Picasso and Braque met in 1907. They both lived and worked in the same area of Paris. They were close and competitive.

Drawing – before we can start our paintings, we need to plan properly by drawingWe need to push ourselves to draw like Picasso and BraqueThis means trying new things!
•We will draw the same objects from different viewpoints•We will stand up and move around an object, and look at it from above, and draw what we see•We will overlap lines•We will divide up objects into geometrical shapes•We will enlarge some parts of objects and shrink others!
