Inspired by performance, the Sport exterior finish flashes a dark theme that is

expressed over the mesh grille. The window surroundings are black, while the

spoiler, rockers and side moldings are body-color.

An aggressive design makes the headlamps slice through the air and employs

bi-LED high-/low-beam projectors. These lights help your visibility and are

a key facet of the vehicle’s sweeping silhouette. The taillamps mirror the front

Cadillac’s innovative standard Rear Camera Mirror1 may allow you to see a wider, less-obstructed field of

vision than with a traditional rearview mirror. This next-generation display uses a new selector switch that

allows you to zoom in or tilt the view to your preference.

camera to scan the road ahead. The system can

alert the driver to detected pedestrians and,

if necessary, can apply the brakes to help avoid

When in Reverse and after the HD Rear Vision

Camera is displayed, standard Rear Pedestrian

Alert can provide pedestrian detection and

imminent collision alerts to the driver when a

pedestrian is detected behind the vehicle.

AN INTELLIGENT WIPERStandard Rainsense Wipers automatically

engage when rain is detected, adjusting

their speed to the rain’s intensity. Whenever

the wipers are activated, Auto-Dry brakes

automatically position the brake pads closer to

the rotors to sweep away moisture and improve

performance.

TRULY FORWARD THINKINGStandard Forward Collision Alert monitors

traffic ahead and can alert you if it detects that

a potential front-end collision is imminent, while

the standard Following Distance Indicator

shows the following time to the detected vehicle

ahead (in seconds) in the Driver Information

Center (DIC). Up to certain speeds, standard

Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking

can sense potential forward collisions and

automatically engage the brakes if you haven’t

already done so, helping to reduce the crash

impact.

GRABS YOUR ATTENTION. SUBTLY.Cadillac’s standard patented Safety Alert Seat

sends a discreet pulse to the left, right or both

sides of the driver’s seat, indicating the direction

of the threat — left, right or both.

BE ALERTED EVEN IN REVERSEWhen backing out of a parking space, standard

Rear Cross Traffic Alert can warn you of detected

cross traffic from either side of your vehicle with

a visual alert and either an audible alert or a pulse

to the standard Safety Alert Seat.

SEE WHAT LIES BEHINDThe HD Rear Vision Camera automatically displays

a live image of the area behind you on the Cadillac

user experience screen. Guidelines on the image

plot out your intended trajectory, helping you to

see people and objects that might be in your path.

TRAVEL THE STRAIGHT AND SMARTUsing a camera sensor to monitor lane

boundaries, standard Lane Keep Assist can

gently turn the steering wheel if the system

anticipates the vehicle is leaving the lane

unintentionally or without using your turn signal.

Working in conjunction with the standard Safety

Alert Seat, standard Lane Departure Warning

shows a visual alert in the cluster and sends a

warning pulse through the seat cushion when

your vehicle crosses the detected lane marking.

AN ATTENTION-GRABBERStandard Lane Change Alert surveys the area

well beyond the side blind zone and illuminates

the side-mirror warning icon to alert you of

a rapidly approaching vehicle. Standard Side

Blind Zone Alert monitors your blind zones,

so if a moving vehicle is in the adjacent lane,

it also illuminates the side-mirror icon. In both

features, if you’ve activated your turn signal,

the icon on the side mirror flashes to alert you.
