Applications are open twice a year:
• FALL: applicants must complete requirements by the end of the springOctober 1st – November 30th
• SPRING: applicants must complete requirements by the end of summerAugust 1st – August 31st

Transfer Requirements• 60 transferable semester units or 90
quarter units from a regionally accredited institution.
• Minimum 2.0 GPA in all transferable units completed.
• Be in good standing at the last college or university attended.
• Complete the following classes with a grade of C- or better:A1. Oral communicationA2. Written communicationA3. Critical thinkingB4. College-level mathematics/quantitative reasoning*

In-progress Transcript Deadline: Monday May 1, 2017
• Electronic preferred • Can be mailed or hand delivered but must be
official and sealed when received• It is your responsibility to order transcripts• Faxed transcripts, printouts, and emails are
not accepted
In-progress transcripts must have completed coursework prior to spring 2017 posted
Associate Degrees for Transfer
• CI will allow students to submit verification until May 1
• If you reported an ADT on the application, you do not need to send verification form
• Official transcripts count as verification
Q: What if I reported that I would be earning an ADT but that is no longer the case?
A: An ADT is not an admission requirement. As long as you will meet the basic admission requirements at the end of spring 2017, you will not be affected.

• Registration occurs after Orientation
• Students must attend Orientation in order to register
• Holds that prevent registration are placed on students who do not attend
• Enrollment appointments and any holds will appear in your Student Center

Pre-requisites
• If you have not met a pre-requisite, you will receive an enrollment error
• Review course descriptions ahead of time
• Final transcript may be needed• Cannot post in progress coursework to your record
• Review transfer credit report
• Plan ahead – All transfer coursework will be evaluated before the start of your first term, but not before you register

• Total units needed to graduate 120• Most transfer enter with 70 so you’ll need at
least 50• In most cases your major is NOT 50 units
so you will need electives• So how long? 50 units in four semester is an
average of 12.5 units per semester
