About UsWe are a non-profit organisation that provides facilities for, and promotes participation in sports. Largely centred around basketball & fitness, we also cover sports like; fencing, tennis, table tennis, dance (all forms), and gymnastics. Our services are open for the whole community, and are provided from an amateur basis. CSMN has successfully run various eight week basketball programmes on behalf of; Sport England, London Sport, London Youth, Pro-Active Central London, Us girls and Southwark Council. We have also devised and executed school & college programmes throughout Southwark and Lewisham using our qualified Staff. CSMN’s aim is to get more women & youth involved in sport, and thanks to the backing of the aforementioned parties we have made great strides towards success.

Southwark Storm5 years ago we started a CSMN basketball club (registered with England Basketball) under which we have a Basketball team called 'Southwark Storm'. A Women’s team that currently has 20+ registered players, 18-40yrs old competing in the London Metropolitan Basketball League. In recent years we have also started a youth session which is growing rapidly due to the wealth of schools in the local area. With numbers increasing and staying consistent, they will soon require competitive play also.Southwark Storm Women’s Basketball Team averages 18 participants per session, most of whom participate competitively, but some just come to take part and enjoy our vigorous yet fun training regime.Southwark Storm currently operates 2 sessions; one for women and the other for youth, 2hrs per week, per session. We’ve made great progression on the participants & playing side of things, improving our women’s team league finishing position year on year, last season finishing in 3rd place. We have also increased registered participants from 14 to 20, and weekly attendance average from 12 to 18. But as a non-profit organisation we rely on donations, sponsorship & funding to maintain our services, so any support or contributions are always very welcome.
