The FEI JOG will be held Tuesday, September 3 at 9:00 A.M. in the FEI STABLING AREA

IMPORTANT Please be advised to carefully consider the divisions in which you would like to compete. If you wish to compete with your horse in two or more divisions (assuming eligibility), you should submit the nominating fee for all of the divisions with your entry form. Each rider may nominate as many horses as they wish, but may only ride a maximum of two horses per competition each day. Different horses can be ridden each day if you wish.

You will be charged $200, in addition to the nomination fee, for any new divisions added while at the Tournament. Nomination fees will NOT be refunded for those divisions withdrawn from after the add/drop deadline.

Horses must be started (declared) the day before the competition is held at which time the starting fee is applied to your horse’s account. Do not include starting fees with your entry form.

CSIO ‘MASTERS’ INTERNATIONAL DIVISION - ALL RIDERS

1. ALL Canadian Riders desiring to compete in the FEI DIVISION of the ‘MASTERS’, but willing to ride in the NATIONAL DIVISION if they have not qualified for, or are not accepted in the FEI DIVISION, must submit entry forms and fees for nominations in all Divisions by the closing date July 17, 2019.

2. Horses entered in the FEI Divisions are not eligible for any other Divisions of the Tournament. A maximum of 3 horses may be nominated/ridden in the FEI division.

3. International team riders plus one individual are eligible to ride only in the FEI Divisions of the Tournament. Riders based in North America may also ride in the National Division of the Tournament on a different horse(s) if accepted by the Organizing Committee after taking into account the number of other entries received.

4. A horse may start in only one competition per day.

5. Horses must be started (declared) for the next day’s competition by the deadline as stated on the Tournament schedule. Each Competitor will be allowed to ride only one horse in Competitions #808, #809, #812 and #814.

6. Qualification for the CP International Grand Prix - Athletes that are not already qualified for the CP ‘International’ under the FEI Rules (Jumping Rules, 27th Edition) will need to qualify during the week of the ‘Masters’ Tournament.

Qualifying Criteria for the ‘Masters’ FEI Divisions

ACCEPTANCE OF INTERNATIONAL ENTRIES

For Canadian individual competitors, acceptance of your entry for the ‘Masters’ will largely depend on your attendance and performance throughout the summer series. It is important to understand that the organizing committee’s decisions are confidential and final.

The Organizing Committee retains the exclusive right to consider individual applicants and extend individual invitations to any or all Spruce Meadows Tournaments. Such invitations will follow the FEI protocol of being extended through the respective National Federations.

All foreign National Federations must respect the FEI rules relating to the number of foreign individual riders permitted to take part at the CSIO.

4.1.1 - The individual jumping medal winners (Athletes) of the last Olympic and Pan American Games, of the last World and Continental Championships and the first placed Athlete/Horse combination in the last FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final.

4.1.2 - Eligible to participate in Grand Prix Competitions at 5* CSIO Events are the winners (Athlete/Horse combination) of the Grand Prix at any 5* CSIO Event during the previous 12 months.

4.1.3 - Eligible to participate in Grand Prix Competitions at 4* CSIO Events are the winners (Athlete/Horse combination) of the Grand Prix at any 4* or 5* CSIO Event during the previous 12 months

(will need to qualify during the week of the 2019 ‘Masters’ Tournament in one of these ways): The top three riders from competitions #810 (AKITA DRILLING Cup) and #811 (CANA Cup) will qualify.
