LABORATORY MANAGERThe Laboratory Manager has primary responsibility for providing coordination of the operations, management practices and implementation of policy for all lab ser-vices. The position is responsible for all quality control and compliance adherence, in addition to personnel management. This is a “hands on” position in that the Laboratory Manager will perform profi ciency testing, staff training and program evaluation as needed, in addition to management responsibilities. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in medical technology, chemistry, physics or biology and must have graduated from an approved medical technology intern-ship. Additionally, the applicant must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Medical Technologist, super-visory experience preferred.
SURGICAL SERVICES MANAGERSeeking a Surgical Services manager for 2 room OR. Experienced Surgical Services RN with a management background required. Responsibilities include orga-nization and direction for all activities of the OR, Post Anesthesia Recovery Room, Ambulatory Day Surgery, Endoscopy Services and Sterile Processing Services. Assuring that appropriate staffi ng levels are maintained by overseeing hiring of OR nursing and technical staff. Is responsible for development and implementation of policies and procedures for the Surgical Services area.
CHARGE/ER/FLOAT RNAn RN is needed in our Emergency Department. Will work three 12 hour shifts per week. ACLS/TNCC/BLS/NRP/Pals or ENPC required. Minimum one year experi-ence in ER, charge experience preferred. Day and night shifts available.
PERIOPERATIVE RNThis nurse performs activities in the preoperative, in-traoperative, acute post-operative and discharge phase of the surgical experience for the pediatric to the geri-atric patients, while working in collaboration with other health care professionals. The Perioperative nurse has the requisite skills and knowledge to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene and evaluate outcomes of interventions. Must be able to address the physiological, psychological, socio-cultural and spiritual needs of the patient. Individ-ual must possess diverse skills in a variety of roles.
MT/MLT GENERALISTFull-time MT/MLT Generalist experienced in the general fi eld of medical technology who can perform routine testing procedures in the following: chemistry, hematol-ogy, coagulation, blood banking, serology, bacteriology, urinalysis and phlebotomy. Good computer skills de-sired. Requires certifi cation by ASCP or AMT. Must be able to work 40 hours/week (10 hour shifts) and rotate 1-2 nights on call.
