Within the repertoire you'll find much-loved favourites and some lesser known, but equally fabulous music. We welcome Thelma Handy (Joint Leader from the RLPO) playing the lovely Bruch Violin concerto and hear two of the CSO’s trumpeters in the sparkling Vivaldi Double Trumpet Concerto. The season’s grand finalé, this year back at the newly-refurbished Philharmonic Hall, includes the mighty Saint-Saens ‘Organ’ Symphony featuring Ian Tracey.
