Sleeves E Hook Rnd 1: With the right side of the skirt facing forward, attach the yarn to the center ch at the bottom of the armhole opening. Ch 1, evenly space 34 sc around the opening. Join to the top of the beginning ch 1. (34 sc) Rnd 2: Ch 2, skip next st. For hdc cluster, *(2 hdc, ch 1, 2 hdc), skip next st*. Repeat from * to * around to last st. Join to top of beginning ch 2. (16 hdc clusters) Rnds 3-6: Ch 2, hdc cluster in ch sp of each cluster around. Join to top of beginning ch 2. With the inside of the dress facing forward, ch 1, sc in the next ch and in each ch across. Turn. (44 sc) Row 2: Ch 3, 4 dc in base of ch 3, skip 2 sts, *5 dc in next st, skip 2 sts*. Repeat from * to* to the end of the row. DO NOT finish off.

Placket E hook Row 1: Continue around the corner to the back opening, Evenly space 16 sc down one side of the opening and 16 sc up the other side of the opening. Turn. Row 2: Ch 3, dc in each st to bottom of opening. Slip st in bottom, continue to dc in each st up the other side. Finish off and weave in the ends. Finishing

• Evenly space and sew 3 flat, white 7/16-inch buttons on the left side of the placket. Insert the buttons through the dc sts on the right side of the placket.

• Cut two 18-inch lengths of 1/4-inch-wide white ribbon. Starting at the outer edge of a sleeve, weave one ribbon through Rnd 9. Tie the ends in a bow. Repeat on the other sleeve.

• Cut one 36-inch length of 1/4-inch-wide white ribbon. Starting at the center back of the dress, weave the ribbon through Rnd 9. Tie the ends in a bow at the back of the dress.

• Cut one 12-inch length of 1/4-inch-wide white ribbon. Thread the ribbon around the center stitch on Row 1 of the yoke. Tie the ends into a bow.
