    Blanket measures approximately 38 x 38.

    RED HEART Baby Econo: 2 skeins each 1987

    Bathtime CA and 1001 White CB.

    Crochet Hook: 5.5mm [US I-9].

    Yarn needle.

    GAUGE: Square = 3 x 3. CHECK YOUR

    GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

    SQUARE (Make 100): With CA, ch 5; join with a sl st to

    form a ring.

    Rnd 1: Ch 3, 15 dc in ring; join with a sl st to top of ch-3

    16 sts.

    Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same ch as joining, 2 dc in each dc

    around; join to top of ch-3. Fasten off.

    Rnd 3: Attach CB in any dc; ch 3, dc in next 6 dc, * (2 tr,

    ch 2, 2 tr) all in next dc for corner **, dc in next 7 dc; rep

    from * around, end at **; join to top of ch-3. Fasten off.

    Joining Row-Horizontal Rows: Holding 2 squares with

    wrong sides together and working through both lps of botsquares, attach CA in ch-2 sp of corner; ch 1, sc in same

    sp, ch 1, skip next st on both squares, * [sc in next st of

    both squares, ch 1, skip next st] 5 times, sc in ch-2 sp of

    both squares **, ch 1 (between squares), holding anothe

    2 squares with wrong sides together sc in next ch-2 sp

    of both squares, ch 1, skip next st on both squares; rep

    from * across until 10 sets of squares are joined; end at *

    Fasten off.

    Join 10 more squares to the previous joined squares in t

    same manner until all 100 squares are joined horizontally

    10 rows. Now work joining row across squares vertical

    Weave in ends.

    FINISHING-Border-Rnd 1: With right side facing, attach

    CA in corner ch-2 sp; ch 1, ** (sc, ch 2, sc) all in corner,

    sc in next 11 sts, * sc in next sp, sc in seam, sc in next

    sp, sc in next 11 sts; rep from * to next corner; rep from *

    around; join.

    Rnd 2: Sl st into sp, ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in corner sp

    * dc in each sc to next corner **, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in

    corner; rep from * around, end at **; join.

    Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next dc, * (sc, ch 2, sc) a

    in next sp, sc in each dc to next corner; rep from * around

    join. Fasten off.

    Rnd 4: With right side facing, attach CB in any sc; ch 1,

    st in joining and in each dc and ch around; join with a sl sin rst sl st. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
