Happy Easter!
We passed through the season of Lent by entering into preparation, self-reflection and repentance. Literally, we sought to “turn around”, and re-aligned our lives and refocused ourselves to God. It was a time that we gave up things, by self-sacrifice, as well as took on new life-giving practices by works of charity, helping us rid ourselves of distractions and our own selfish desires. By doing so, we sought to live and love as more faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
Today is the beginning of the Easter Season and will end on Pentecost. Focusing on Christ’s resurrection, Easter is the most joyous and celebrative season of the year. We celebrate the good news that in Christ’s death and resurrection we, and all creation, are continually being made new by God’s love and saving grace.

¡Feliz Pascua!
Ya pasamos el tiempo de Cuaresma al entrar en preparación, reflexión interior y arrepentimiento. Literalmente buscamos hacer un giro en nuestra vida y encarrilarnos bien para vivir una vida enfocada en Dios. Fue un tiempo en que dejamos unas cosas haciendo sacrificio, y al mismo tiempo adoptamos nuevas prácticas de vida al hacer caridad, que nos ayuda a deshacernos de distracciones y de nuestros deseos egoístas. Al hacer esto, podemos ahora vivir y amar más como discípulos fieles de Jesucristo.
Hoy es el comienzo del tiempo de Pascua, que culminará con la llegada de Pentecostés. La Pascua tiene su enfoque en la Resurrección de Cristo. Es el tiempo más alegre y festivo del año. Celebramos la buena nueva de que con la muerte y resurrección de Cristo, nosotros y toda la creación estamos continuamente haciéndonos nuevos por el amor y la gracia salvífica de Dios.
