    Setting (pg: 2) Draw pictures and write notes about where your story will take place.

    ★ Go online and research a different country to use as inspiration.

    Characters (pg: 3-4) Draw and describe the characters in your story.

    ★ Act as one of your characters and record a video diary entry. What would they say? How do they feel? What does their voice sound like?

    • Beginner > English Language > Connecting sentences• Intermediate > English Language > Expanding sentences• Intermediate > Health & Body > Wow (Body verbs)• Intermediate > Everyday Life > Wow (Ways to move)

    Time connectives (pg: 5-6) Plan your story’s plot. What happens at the beginning, middle and end? Practise writing sentences with time connectives.

    ★ Draw a comic of the main events in your story.

    • Beginner > Home, Time & Leisure > Saying how you feel• Beginner > English Language > Synonyms & antonyms• Beginner > Nature & Society > Wow (Something in the atmosphere), Wow (Whatever the weather)

    Reflection (pg: 7) Think about your plan. How do you feel about it? Make notes on what you can do to improve it.

    ★ Think about your vocabulary. Can you use more exciting synonyms?

    Write your story (pg:8) Write your story.
