The BScE, MA multi‐LEARN, and DICA‐lab (LCMI) in cooperation with Music & Resources Rockhal invite to a public lecture given by Patrick Peiffer Pierre-Yves Lanneau-Saint-Leger Project Lead, Creative Commons Luxembourg, luxcommons asbl Head of Marketing and Communication, Jamendo The flexible licensing system of Creative Commons attempts to facilitate access to and distribution of cultural artifacts like music, images, videos etc. online while at the same time protecting the intellectual rights of the creators. This event will introduce the principles of Creative Commons to the audience and allow for a discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of using this licensing system.
