)n the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. &ut the earth had no shape. )t was empty,

covered with only dar"ness and water. *hen the #pirit of God hovered over the water and God

said, +et there be light.$ *hen God divided the light from the dar"ness and (e called the light

the daytime and the dar"ness (e called night time. *his was the first day.

God divided the waters below from the waters above to ma"e the s"y and the sea. *his was the

#tudents will be given a crossword puzzle, entitled in the beginning, to complete. After students

are through doing the puzzle, they will be as"ed to spell the words and "ey terms will be defined.

#tudents should be able to infer what the topic will be.

#tudents will be as"ed to turn their &ibles to Genesis chapter one and they will be as"ed to read

according to their genders, discussion will be stimulated after each verse.

confirm if it matches what the &ible said God made on specific days and the pictures will arouse

interest. #tudents will ma"e notes at intervals.

Evolution is a process that results in heritable changes in a population spread over many

generations.

Theories and Stories

Although some scientists disagree, most believe that the universe started with a +ig +ang, some
