WHO IS YOUR CUSTOMER?
Your marketing plan can be comprehensive but provides your brand with a holistic marketing strategy for every circumstance you will run into. This plan will help you tackle some of the

CREATING A 6 MONTH TO ONE YEAR MARKETING PLAN IS A GREAT PLACE TO START.
Developing the plan may seem tedious and challenging however, it’s totally worth it. It’s your job as a brand owner to decide on what you want to do and how you want to do it.
How does your marketing plan tie into your business plan and vision?
Your business plan is the skeleton of your fashion business; it dictates what your company does and does not do. It spreads far beyond just marketing to all sectors of your business.
Your vision statement is included within your business plan and elaborately states what you see the business becoming.
Your marketing plan is a small subset of your business plan that is only covering marketing practices to help you reach your vision.
So let’s get started!.
Step one is to remind yourself about who your customer is. Review the Customer Profile you created using the “How to Create a Detailed Customer Profile” Collection in the Community and fill in the questions below.
Read through “The Character” you created and write a 3 to 5 sentences that capture your customer.

REVIEW YOUR FINANCES
STEPTWO
Before deciding on which marketing ideas you would like to focus on, review your financial plan and your operating budget. How much money do you have available for marketing for the next year?
Whether you have $500 or $5,000, it’s important to know your numbers. You can create a marketing plan even with a budget of just a few hundred bucks; knowing what you have available makes your plan a lot easier to create.
AREAS OF MARKETING
OK, now it’s time to think about marketing areas. There are 6 areas of focus for building your marketing plan. Each area should be represented in your marketing plan. Choose a few ideas in each category for the next 6 months of your marketing.
