Masterpiece of transcience Nobody else than the widely known Andreas Hermes was the creator of the drawings and first drafts for this R8. The tattoo artist is well-established in the Allgäu with his own studio named „Hell‘s Ink“ and learnt his craft with famous tattoo artists all over the world.

In about 300 hours, Ralph Salzmann from the Blaser Custom Shop finally has brought the R8 Skull to life combining relief and flat engravings thus creating a masterpiece of transience whose appearance is harmoniously complemented by grade 11 wood, a golden trigger as well as an octagonal barrel.

Of mythical creatures and animal godsInspired by the centuries-old Japanese art of tattooing, the harmonious interplay of dragon and koi fish all over the bolt housing is the heart of this extraordinary R8 bolt action rifle. Rattlesnake’s DanceThe realistically depicted reptiles wind around both sides of the receiver of this outstanding R8 bolt action rifle. The rattlesnakes are completely worked into relief and thus appear particularly sculp-tural. Through their fine shadow play they literally emerge from the receiver. With piercing glance a snake‘s head adorns the bolt. Its scale structure extends from the bolt to the barrel. Another rattle-snake‘s head with open mouth decorates the pistol grip cap. Fine gold inlays round off this impressively engraved piece of art.
