Contradiction’s prove what

(Lessons to learn)

1. Walk/does not

2. Far/near

3.Within / Outside everything

Lord appears to

please them

Walk/does not walk

Therefore Supreme Lord.

Both personal & Impersonal (More accommodating than

mayavad)

Inconceivable Potency

Far/Near

Spiritual world is beyond material sky

Can be present any where (Narasimha Dev)

Within/without

Antaryami & virat form

Manifestation of His energies (Heat & Light)

We have Limited Power

of understanding

Can accept our services through

any medium (Deity)

He is both Sarguna &

Nirguna

Source of all energies

(therefore cant be controlled)

VISION OF SPIRITUALLY ADVANCED DEVOTEES

Recognizing devotees with spiritual vision (3 types)

Developing spiritual vision

What to avoid

(Danger)

What to accept

Kanistha Madhyama Uttama

Lowest stage

Goes to temple, nowhere else

Can’t ascertain others position

Follows routine Quarrels Materialistic devotees

Kanistha

Page 33: Çré Éçopaniñad. a)What is Upaniñad? b)“sit near” c)Sit near a spiritual teacher to learn… Upa = Near ni = down shad = to sit 1

Second stage Distinguishes 4 categories

Sees whom ?

Sees everything in relation to

Supreme Lord

Uttama

Madhyama

Behaves how ?

1. Supreme Lord

2. Devotees

3. Innocent

4. Atheists

Loves / adores

Makes friends

Tries to awaken dormant love

Avoid

Doesn’t discriminate Sees in terms of using/misusing

SPIRITUAL ONENESS

Who can see

What is this ?

Eg’s of ‘oneness’

But y not “quantitatively” also,

one?

Perfection of oneness

Eg’s Result of achieving

this ‘oneness’

Effects of rejecting

this ‘oneness’

Only uttama A. &

Madhyama ALiving entity’s

are qualitatively

one, not quantitatively

one with Supreme

Lord

Living entity's

interest is same with

Supreme Lord

Eg’s

Perfection of oneness (platform of Real enjoyment)

Giving enjoyment to Supreme, as centre (atma

bhut same as bhahmabhut)

Eg’s

Children obedient to will of father

Fire/spark Salt in drop v/s sea

Family v/s Nation interest

Therefore Part & parcel of

whole

80% qualities of whole

If one then can’t be in

Maya

Not even Demigods can

surpass Supreme Lord

Y not quantitative oneness

Page 37: Çré Éçopaniñad. a)What is Upaniñad? b)“sit near” c)Sit near a spiritual teacher to learn… Upa = Near ni = down shad = to sit 1

Surrender to Krishna

No material miseries

Freedom from illusion &

lamentation

Freedom from Birth & Death

Result of achieving oneness

Godless civilization

sponsored by mundane politicians

Full of anxieties,

therefore any moment can be

crushed

Bound by stringent laws

of Material Nature.

Effect of rejecting ‘oneness’

Page 38: Çré Éçopaniñad. a)What is Upaniñad? b)“sit near” c)Sit near a spiritual teacher to learn… Upa = Near ni = down shad = to sit 1

Not at all similar to form

of Material World.

No veins No difference between this body & soul, body & mind

Not forced to accept body by Law Of Material

Nature.

Br. S, says “sat chit ananda”

omnipotent

Sruti means “No hands &

legs but accepts & run

faster”

Angani asya

Page 40: Çré Éçopaniñad. a)What is Upaniñad? b)“sit near” c)Sit near a spiritual teacher to learn… Upa = Near ni = down shad = to sit 1

5000 years ago displayed full manifestation.

Killed powerful demons (without extra endeavor)

Lifted Govardhana hill

(no weight lifting)

Danced with gopies (without social restrictions)

Self-sufficient

Page 42: Çré Éçopaniñad. a)What is Upaniñad? b)“sit near” c)Sit near a spiritual teacher to learn… Upa = Near ni = down shad = to sit 1

intelligent

Influenced by material nature

Ignorance v/s Knowledge (avidya) v/s (vidya)

What is more dangerous “avidya” or

“vidya”

activities to cover miseries

of material existence

What is real Avidya

Eg’s of avidya Categories of “Avidya”

So called “vidya”

Atheists demons

Self made Gods Accept ordinary rich man as God

but neglect Supreme

Personality Of Godhead.

Think “God” is in Maya

proof

Modern civilization more advancement but unhappy (since

neglect Spiritual aspect)

Forgetfulness of this fact

1. Advanced civilization is godless but more dangerous than less educated

2. Karmi’s (99% of modern)

Self made God’s (mayayapahrtha jana)

Mundane educaters (veda vada rathah)

Gross sense gratifiers (Mudha’s)

Page 45: Çré Éçopaniñad. a)What is Upaniñad? b)“sit near” c)Sit near a spiritual teacher to learn… Upa = Near ni = down shad = to sit 1
