Our style is more skewed towards the 'Old school', however, we do play the New school too, giving us a diverse demographic of 18-60+ year olds. Crackers is a radio station for 'all' forming a core USP for our brand. We are also developing 'featured shows' which will be designed to ‘Edu-tain’ (educate and entertain) our listeners about feel-good music past, present and future.
BRIEF HISTORY BEHIND THE NAME
Crackers originated as a hugely influential disco in the 70’s, located in Central London and brought to fashion “all-day clubbing”. Founded by DJ George Power. Parties would start at midday on Friday, with hundreds leaving work early, to hit the Crackers dance floor and cut shapes to the sound of American soul music.
George had the idea of re-branding Crackers, it was always his dream to take this idea further… hence, Crackers Radio was born. The station is about 'Feel-Good Music…for the Soul' infusing our audience with positive 'soulful' music (soul, RnB, funk, jazz, disco, boogie, Hip-Hop, rap, house, dance and even Latin).
Ofcom has now awarded Crackers Radio with a DAB License for London. This meanswe will be reaching a much bigger audience of 10s if not 100s of thousands of Feel-Good music lovers.

The number of live mentions stipulated above is the maximum number allowed and includes
mentions for dedications. This is at the presenter’s discretion.
Trailers should include the association’s name, location and tag line and should not
exceed 20 seconds in duration.
A 10 minute interview will be offered to all associates every 8-12 weeks.This interview
can be done live or by phone during the associted programme or pre-recorded if the
client personally visits our studios during working hours and by prior arrangement.

The event will be promoted daily on Crackers Radio via on-air trailers will promote the event and at the end
will mention the sponsor’s names. The adverts will be aired daily for at least 3 weeks in lead up event,
with minimum of 4 spots per day.

The sponsors will be invited to a 15 minute promotional interview on Crackers Radio to discuss their business or brand and familiarise our listener

their discretion.
Rotating Banner On Our Homepage
We will offer our sponsors a “gold” rotating banner on the Crackers Radio website for 3 months. The
banners on our homepage also act as a link to your company website.
