When Mr and Mrs Alexander bought their home in Dalkeith, saying that it was a ‘fixer-upper’ would be an understatement. “We knew it was going to be a big renovation job,” said Mr Alexander, “but we could see the potential. We’ve done a huge number of renovations to the house, and the windows were a big part of the upgrade.” The couple were passionate about retaining the house’s original features, opting for Lorimer Sliding Sash to replace the old and crumbling sash and case timber windows.
