A full barn of top show prospects filled the pens at the Putnam County Fairgrounds in Greencastle, Ind., for the 2010 CPS Weanling Pig Extravaganza. It remains the mission of the CPS Association to provide high-quality purebred and crossbred show prospects for 4-H kids and families to afford, feed and prosper in the summer. In my opinion, the 2010 Extravaganza provided the deepest set of futuristic prospects ever offered in this sale and many winners and potential female herd builders will be realized.

An excellent set of breed champions of both barrows and gilts were chosen and all should be very competitive this summer. Thanks for all the assistance at Greencastle and best of luck in the show season.
