CPP20212 Cer�ficate II in Security Opera�ons (NSW Delivery)
COURSE OVERVIEW
To work in NSW as a Security Officer students will be required to complete CPP20212 Cer�ficate II in Security Opera�ons and HLTAID003 Provide First Aid, undertaking 15 nominated Units of Competency as required by the Security Licensing and Enforcement Directorate (SLED) who are the industry regulators in NSW.*The course is fully accredited na�onally recognised training.
The course covers the basic legal, opera�onal knowledge and skills to start working in manpower (Class 1) sectors of the security industry. All candidates must a�end a minimum of 102 hours of training face to face in a classroom environment.
Upon successful comple�on of the course, candidates will be able to apply to SLED for their FULL NSW Class 1A and 1C security licence.
COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTSAs s�pulated by the SLED:
• Be at least 18 years old to apply for security license with SLED.
• Be a Permanent Resident or Australian Ci�zen or have workrights to apply for a security license with SLED.
• You must provide 100 Points of Iden�fica�on upon enrollment.
• Sign a Statutory Declara�on regarding Criminal History as perSLED requirements.
• Meet prescribed Language, Literacy and Numeracy requirementsas per SLED requirements, prior to commencing training.
• Students must have a good command of English as a language, ascommunica�on both in wri�ng and orally is a key component ofthe course.

DURATION & STRUCTURE
The course is structured to run full �me face to face in a classroom based environment, over a minimum of 102 hours. Courses run at both our campuses in either Granville or Liverpool, with �mes as follows:
Day Class:This runs over 10 days. Monday to Friday in Week 1 and Monday to Friday in Week 2. Classes start at 0800 and finish at 1900 each day.
Evening Class:This runs over 14 days straight. Monday to Sunday in Week 1 and Monday to Sunday in Week 2. Classes start at 1600 and finish at 2230 Mon - Fri and 0800 - 1800 Saturday and Sunday.
Weekend Class:This runs over 5 weekends each Saturday and 5 Sunday. Classes start at 0800 and finish at 1900 each day. This course is sessional and not always available. Please enquire on 02 9897 5622 about availability
First Aid is run seperately with regular programs scheduled each week.
