Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied in the pool area at all times by an adult. An adult is defined as a responsible person over the age of 18. Unsu-pervised children will be turned away by the gate checkers or lifeguards.

All who enter the pool agree to swim at their own risk at all times.

You MUST have this current year's pool band with you to use the pool. If you are a homeowner in good standing and did not pick up your 2012 wrist bands on any of the distribution dates, please contact All In One at: 678-363-6479 or [email protected]

While CP residents are allowed to bring guests to the pool, please understand that an excessive number of guests will not be allowed and guests may not be Camden Pointe homeowners that are not in good standing.

The lifeguard on duty will have the authority to enforce any and all rules and regu-lations, report infractions to management, and remove those persons violating the rules or endangering themselves or others.

Glass bottles or containers are not allowed in the pool area at any time.

Food and/or drinks are not allowed in the actual pool at any time.

The pool and pool deck are non smoking areas.

The pool closes at 10:00 p.m. nightly.

Jordan Simon is a 2012 graduate of Allatoona High School. Jordan moved here in 5th grade, attended Frey Elementary and Durham Middle School. Jordan lettered in both Cross Country and Track all four years, is a member of the National Honor Society, and served on the leadership team of FCA. Jordan will study Physics at Southern Polytechnic State University and has been in-vited into their Honors Program. His parents, Shawn and Debbie Simon could not be more proud of him and look forward to his bright future!

Kevin Turner graduated with honors from Alla-toona High School. He will be attending the Uni-versity of Georgia in the fall. Kevin will be majoring in Mass Media Arts.

Kathryn Chambers is a 2012 graduate of Allatoona High School, ranking 4th in her graduating class of 430 students with a GPA of 4.375. She is attending the Georgia Institute of Technol-ogy in the fall of 2012 as an Engineering student. Kathryn is a member of the AHS Chapter of the National Honor Society, 4.0 and higher Honor Roll, the AHS Helm Student Government, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She received the AHS IDEAL Student Award and TOP Academic Award. Kathryn was awarded a Varsity Letter on the Allatoona Tennis Team where she received the Allatoona Tennis Leadership Award and the Allatoona Tennis Scholar Athlete Award. Kathryn is a member of Burnt Hickory Bap-tist Church.

Julia Leigh Hess graduated from Allatoona HS with honors, While attending Allatoona, she lettered in Slow Pitch Softball, Lacrosse and was a Wrestling Manager. She also received the Cobb Schools Foundation, Deluxe Athletics Female Student-Athlete Scholarship. Julia will be attending Kennesaw State University.

Brendan Lynch, graduate of Kennesaw Mountain HS Academy of Mathematics, Science and Technology will be attending Georgia Tech. He is interested in engineering, physics and computer science. He played on JV and Var-sity baseball , participated in the Beta Club, the Ping Pong Club, and Shop With A Mustang. He finished in the top 10 of his class. Brendan received the Academic Award for AP Physics and Accelerated Math III, earned the AP Scholar with Honors, is a member of the 800 Club for Math of the SAT (perfect score both times taken), eligible for the Zell Miller Scholarship, received the Baseball Coaches Award his Sophomore and Senior years. While interning at the Electro Optic Sensor Lab in the Georgia Tech Research Institute, the work Brendan performed helping Dr. Wagner and Dr. Kang with their research, allowed his name to be included with their article published in the Materials Re-search Society.

We are proud to announce the graduation of Emily Bless from North Cobb Christian with a Distinguished Scholar Diploma. Emily is the Class of 2012 Salutatorian and Stu-dent Body Chaplain. She is a member and offi-cer in National Honor Society, Beta Club, National French Honor Society, and an Ambassador for the National Society of High School Scholars. She was the recipient of the Geor-gia Certificate of Merit from UGA, Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Award, Prudential Community Spirit Award, President's Volunteer Service Award, and the IS-ERV award from NCC logging 496 hours of community ser-vice. Emily will be attending Mercer University in the fall, Pre Medicine, double majoring in Biology and Global Health. We are so proud of your accomplishments and know you will impact the world for Christ in the U.S. and abroad. Enjoy your college experience, you've earned it!

Mary Kathryn Johnson Saluda Lane Daughter of Darryl and Carmen Johnson Mary Kathryn is graduating from Harrison High School with hon-ors. Mary Kathryn was president of the Harrison chapter of the Inter-national Thespian Society and had the lead role in Harrison Thea-tre's production of Annie Get Your Gun. Mary Kathryn was inducted into the National Honor Society, Beta Club and served in leadership roles in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the FCA worship band. She also served in Sources of Strength, Heart of a Hoya, and was an officer in Harrison's Chorus. Mary Kathryn serves at Burnt Hickory Baptist church as a worship leader and as part of the Sole-to-Soul Dance ministry. Mary Kathryn will be attending James Madi-son University in Virginia in the fall as a Musical Theatre major.

We are proud to announce that Sam Rogers has graduated from Mount Paran Christian School. While at Mount Paran, Sam played Varsity Football and Lacrosse, and was a member of the Key Club. Sam has also been very involved in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as a mem-ber of the Government Relations Commit-tee and participant in the 2011 JDRF Chil-dren's Congress in Washington D.C. He continues to volunteer at Children's Health-care, Scottish Rite, mentoring newly diag-nosed Type 1 diabetics. Sam will attend Samford University in the fall where he plans to study athletic training and journal-ism.

Colin Galubinski is a graduate from Harrison High School. He was born in Wisconsin and moved to Georgia in 1995. Colin played La-crosse at Harrison for three years, lettering all three years and going to State twice. He was also the managing editor for the school news-paper. Colin will be attending Gainsville State in August.

Ashley Johnson Saluda Lane Daughter of Darryl and Carmen Johnson Ashley graduated from The University of Alabama on May 4th with a bachelor's degree in Journalism. Ashley was a mem-ber, social chair, and newsletter editor in the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She was a Boone Journalism scholar, an editor for Alpine Living magazine, a contributing writer to the Tusca-loosa News in the aftermath of last years devastating torna-dos, and a summer intern at CNN HLN in Atlanta. Ashley has now started her new position as a reporter on the News Staff of the Selma Times-Journal in Selma, Alabama.

College Graduate

Abigail English graduated from the Performing Arts Program at Pebblebrook High School. She received a vocal scholarship to the Univer-sity of Mobile School of Music where she will be-gin in August 2012.

Gabby Corroto is graduating from Allatoona HS. She will be attend-ing Georgia Highlands to pursue a degree neonatal nursing.

Stephanie Nicole Petell graduated from Allatoona HS. She is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to pursue a career as a Dental Hygienist.

Camden Pointe Youth Swimming Swim Team Goes 1 and 1 For Start of Season

Neighborhood Services Are you a resident with a service to offer? Are you one that is looking for a great pet sitter, cupcake maker, house cleaner, or piano teacher? If you answered yes to either of these questions then you need to visit Camden Pointe’s Resident Services Webpage (http://www.camdenpointe.com/residentservices.htm). There you will find listings of people in our neighborhood who offer the above services and so much more. The Camden Pointe Swim team is one win and one loss for the start of their 2012 swim season. It’s been a crazy season, according to coach Peggy Davidson. We have two more meets to go (one more here at the Camden Pointe pool). Good Luck Swimmers! Remaining Camden Pointe Swim Meets: June 13th Paces Club at Camden Pointe June 20th Camden Pointe at Hardage Farm June 27th Hardage Farm at Camden Ponte June 28th End of season party at clubhouse 9:30am to 11am Just a reminder that the meet on June 27th is here, so the pool will be closing at 4:00 p.m.. Be prepared for heavy traffic in the vicinity of the clubhouse and the pool!
