StockyardClaudius Peters Technologies S.A.,

Someral, France, is a market leader in

stockyard material handling

technologies, offering reliable and

flexible automated bulk handling

systems.

Stockyard Technik is based on

experience gained in over a hundred

installations worldwide across a wide

range of bulk materials, capacities

and configurations.

A variety of state-of-the-ar t options

are available for stacking and

reclaiming a host of dry bulkmaterials including cement raw

materials, coal, wood-chip and

fertilizer. Systems can work with an

overhead stacking arrangement

combined with a standard belt

conveyor and reclaimer, or combined

stacker and reclaimer systems.

High-capacity travelling trippers or

shuttles offer longitudal stockpile

configuration with portal, semi-portal

or side-type reclaimers allowing

material to be reclaimed either

vertically or horizontally in successive

passes along the pile, facilitating the

flexibility to adjust the reclaim

capacity with scraper depth in the pile

and reclaimer unit travelling speed.

Equipment of this type offers the

potential for capacities ranging from

50 tonnes per hour to over 1,500

tonnes per hour at high stockpile

spans.

High capacity bulk storage and

mixing silos is another area where

Silo storage is utilized in many bulk

material industries for various

applications and Claudius Peters

specializes in the higher capacity

requirements of industry, typically

40,000 tonnes capacity for free

flowing bulk solids materials.

Silos can be for storage of a single

product, the blending of multiple

products, or multi-chambered for

storing various products. Claudius

Peters has developed multipledesigns for silo and dome systems,

incorporating numerous ground

breaking technologies in over half a

century and more than 3000

installations.

Within storage silos, an inverted cone

is used in several designs as an

expansion chamber with a single

discharge point or a central cone with

multiple discharge points to a

collecting bin.

Clinker Cooling

...in the cement industry, clinker handling

and cooling is one of the key elements inthe cement making process...

In the cement industry, clinker

handling and cooling is one of the key

elements in the processing line. In

1951, Claudius Peters commissioned

the first of its reciprocating grate

clinker coolers. Since then more than

600 Claudius Peters clinker coolers

have been commissioned around the

world.

Claudius Peters clinker cooler

technology has continually been

developed as the capacity, availability

and efficiency of the cement making

process increased during the second

half of the twentieth century. The firstClaudius Peters cooler had a capacity

of 500 tonnes per day. Today

Claudius Peters builds systems with

capacities of up to 12,000 tonnes per

day.

Packing & Dispatch

Claudius Peters is known as a key

supplier of packing line systems for

cement and other bulk commodities

and supply some of the highest

capacity systems available in the

world today. We have developed

systems capable of packing and

palletizing up to 3600 x 50 kilogram

bags per hour on a single line thats

over 4000 tonnes every 24 hours!

Typical systems include feed and

storage equipment to the packer,

rotary bag packer with empty bag

applicator, bag handling equipment

and bag palletizer.We also offer systems for bulk and

bagged dispatch automation,

allowing the loading of product to be

fully or semi automated, whilst

insuring a high degree of accuracy.

Grinding & CalciningClaudius Peters is widely

acknowledged as one of the foremost

authorities on coal and mineral

grinding technology. With knowledge

gained in over 700 applications of the

famous EM ball ring mill, we offer

reliable solutions for the most

extreme processing challenges.

Designed without bearings or

lubrication points inside the grinding

section, the EM mill remains the

simplest, most reliable means

available for fine grinding coal and a

number of other minerals. Up to

50,000 service hours can be achievedfrom a single set of grinding

elements.

Closely coupled to grinding in

number of mineral processes, is

calcining. Claudius Peters combines

the grinding and calcining processes

in a single modified version of the EM

mill a combination that has become

industry standard in certain mineral

processes.
