My primary motivation $or applying to this topic, is the application o$ E simulation tools and the model reduct ion techni"ues involved. n my thesis worat D&', have #een using the concept o$ su#structuring in A45which $acilitates to reduce the comple% model and create a superelement. 3his techni"ue allowed me to import the 6e%i#le !nite element model $rom A45to a rigid #ody environment in MPA*7. Although this wordid not involve any multiphysics challenges, #elieve this PhD topic would provide me the scope to utili8e my e%perience on model reduction in a multiphysics environmen t. nitially #eing a Production engineer in 9achelors, the application o$ inite element (EA+ in manu$acturing domain made me passiona te to e%pertise in design and *AE tools.
