Important Milestones Announced In $200 Million Project to Build Midtown Atlanta Project

Consumer transaction tech giant NCR Corp. and Cousins Properties Inc. (NYSE: CUZ) announcedthe signing of a long-term lease and the closing of incentive agreements and land acquisition forNCR's world headquarters campus, expected to open in late 2017 or early 2018.

NCR and Cousins signed a 15-year build-to-suit lease for the 485,000-square-foot facility to beowned and developed by Cousins at Technology Square on Spring Street. Real estate marketobservers view the project as an important demonstration of Cousins Properties' refocus on its

hometown of Atlanta, where Cousins developed and later sold the 55-story Bank of America Plaza,and developed 191 Peachtree Tower, CNN Plaza and Omni Coliseum, among other Atlanta icons.

Construction at the headquarters site near Georgia Tech University is set to break ground in thefirst quarter of 2016. NCR Chairman and CEO Bill Nuti has publicly stated the company's ambitionto help establish a 'Silicon Valley of the East' in Atlanta.

"We are currently, and will continue, advocating for other tech leaders and innovative companies tofollow our lead," says Nuti. "NCR will be a top employer and part of the fabric of this community fora very long time."

Larry Gellerstedt, president and CEO of Cousins Properties, said the Midtown lease and commitmentto Midtown "further validates the strength of Atlanta's technology corridor."

Duluth, GA-headquartered NCR also plans to maintain a second campus in the northern Atlantasuburbs with similar amenities as the Midtown campus. A location is expected to be finalized thissummer.
