My experience of court visit

I (SHWETAKUMARI SINGH) visited thane court on Tuesday of this month i.e. march 8th (women’s day ) . This was my first visit to a court. At first I was really nervous but the lawyers that I got to meet were readily helpful and talking to them was good experience. When I tried to approach few lawyers to know about their work they thought I am from income tax department because I asked them about their work and earning but when I showed them my collage id card and told the purpose of asking those questions to them, they were easy to talk, fun and helpful people.

When I was done with my interactions with the lawyer on asking about taking their client interview he readily introduced me to his client. I was really enjoying my interaction with client and it was interesting to listen to their cases for which they were present in the court.

I thought this is such a fun and easy assignment until I try to take the interview of one of the staff member working in the court. When I asked few people who were administrative staff of court to take their interview they told that they cannot give me an interview unless I have the permission of their senior officer and they directed me towards their senior officer cabin. Where I greeted the senior officer and told him my purpose for coming to the court and my intention of taking interview of one of their administrative staff. He(senior officer) was little busy so he asked me to wait for ten minutes and so I went outside and waited their patently but I think he forgot that he was suppose to call me to give his answer and he got even more busy in his work. I waited outside of the senior officer’s cabin for almost one and half hour. Now I could not take it anymore waiting so I went inside and try to remind his that I am waiting for his permission to intrrview administrative staff. He told me that he can only allow me to take interview when I bring a written letter from collage

I was not satisfied with my first visit to court as I was not able to take the interview of administrative staff and attend a court case. So, I decided to go and visit the court for the second time and this time I did not wanted to get stuck in the formalities of taking permission. So I called the lawyer whom I met on my first visit to court and he told me to come tomorrow i.e. Friday (11th march) before lunch. After reaching court on Friday I contacted the lawyer and with his help I was able to sit in the criminal case preceding that which was going on. After attending the case I took the interview of administrative staff (a piune )
