Courses designed by educators, for educatorsThe Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) has been a leader in professional development in Massachusetts for over thirty-five years. Our high-quality educator licensure preparation courses reflect the insights gained over those years in developing innovative, engaging programs that meet the needs of our adult learners.
Our licensure courses are geared toward aspiring educators and current educators who wish to continue expanding their repertoire of teaching strategies and/or earn an additional license in a high-need area. Our courses meet requirements for both an Initial License in one or more fields and Fitchburg State University graduate degree programs available through CES.
Our instructors are experienced educators. They have been classroom teachers, principals, superintendents, technology directors, special education teachers, and ELL directors. You’ll find instructors who are published, hold advanced degrees in their fields, and are highly knowledgeable in the content they teach. They are committed to helping students reflect on the work they’ll be doing, and to providing valuable perspective on the issues
facing educators today.
