FROM THE MANAGER

Welcome to Mitcham Community House! We provide a wide range of quality and affordable classes

and activities with experienced tutors.

The Community House is managed by a volunteer Committee of Management and new members are always welcome. We also have a number of sub-committees, such as Social and Fundraising, you may wish to join.

There are volunteer opportunities available in the Office, Childcare, English as a Second Language Classes and Community Activities. All volunteers are recognised through class fee discounts, special events and provision of a job reference. Please enquire at the office if you are interested.

If you have a suggestion about a new class or ways we could improve please let the office staff know.

Mitcham Community House is your House. Feel free to stay a while before or after class and help yourself to a cup of tea or coffee and a chat. We’d love to see you!

COME AND TRY A CLASS If you are interested in an ongoing class, but are unsure whether it is right for you, you may be able to try a class for a small fee. If you decide to join the class, the trial fee will be deducted from the total cost of the term fees. Please enquire at the office.
