Course Users: Getting Started With CongregationU

Go to www.congregationu.com and click on the “LOGIN” link at the top of the homepage.

Login to your account using the codes provided to you by your church administrator. Remember, your username and password are case-sensitive.

Note: Please bookmark this login page (https://congregationu.com/login/) so you can return to your training at a later time.

After logging in, you will be at your own personal CongregationU dashboard. At this page, take note, you will see this address in your browser:

Don’t worry, you are in the right place! Just be sure to bookmark the first login page (https://congregationu.com/login/) in order to keep your training progress intact.

Your CongregationU Dashboard

Settings

When you click on the Settings link, either on your CongregationU Dashboard page or within a course, you can set your preferred language (At this time, some of our courses are in Spanish). Also on this page, you can change your email, username, and/or password.

My Courses

Access your training by clicking on “My Courses” or “Click here to see your courses and get started.”

This screen shows you all of the courses that have been assigned to you. The legend on the top right shows the symbols for a course completed and a course not completed. Click on a course and start training when you are ready.

This page also shows courses that have been completed, and you can access your certificates on this page.

To begin training, click on a course title.

You will come to the introductory page of the course.

Please note the easy navigation elements on this page:

Red arrow: This is your current page number, as well as the total number of pages in the current module.

Blue arrow: Use this arrow icon to navigate to the next page.

Yellow arrow: This tells you which module you are in.

Green arrow: This takes you back to your dashboard page.

Audio

CongregationU courses are accompanied by audio. The default option is that the audio plays automatically, but you can click on the speaker icon to mute the audio.

Progress Checks

Periodically, you will see Progress Checks within a course. These pages test your knowledge of what you’ve learned so far and give you a content “break.” Click on the correct answer to move to the next page.

Course Summary/Proceed to Testing

When you get to the final page of the course, you will see an orange button at the bottom that says, “Proceed to Testing” (blue arrow). Click on this button to take the quiz and complete the course.

Certificate of Completion

After passing the quiz, this screen will appear. On it, you will see your score, the score needed to pass, the View Certificate button (click on it to view and print your certificate). If you have missed any questions, there will be a link to click and see the questions you missed. You will also see a Take Survey link. We’d love to hear your feedback!

Note: If you do not print your certificate at this time, no problem. You can always view or print your certificate from the My Courses or My Certificates links.

My Certificates

On your CongregationU Dashboard page (or within a course), you will also see the link for My Certificates.

If you click on this link, you will go to a page where you will see your completed courses, as well as your test scores and dates of completion. You can also view or print any certificates you have earned.
