W E L C O M EWelcome to our Course Listings for 2015-16. Inside you will find information on the different courses we offer, when and where they take place, and the support available to you. With over 650 courses on offer, we hope you’ll find something that inspires you to join us.
There are some new courses available this year, as well as the popular programmes that run year-on-year. You may be looking to get a qualification, gain new skills to help with employment, improve your English, Maths and IT skills or learn for pleasure. Whatever your reasons for wanting to learn, our friendly and skilled staff will guide you through the options and help you find the right course at the right level.
In these challenging economic times, you will be pleased to know that many of our students will be eligible for fee waivers, discounts and financial support to help with course and exam fees and other costs. We continue to keep our fees as low as possible.
We wish you every success and enjoyment in your chosen course of study.
Sue Knottenbelt Interim Head of Service
900 of our 5,000 students took part in the national on-line student satisfaction surveys. Our overall rating increased from 8.9 to 9.1 (out of 10). 96% said they would recommend us to a friend or family member. Our students gave us especially high ratings for the quality of teaching, support given and respect shown by staff.
We had a full Ofsted inspection in December and were judged to “Outstanding” - we are
one of only 3 adult education providers in the country to have this top rating.
