Activity Labs provide students with opportunities to explore concepts and build a deeper understanding of the mathematics. Categories of Activity Labs include Hands-On, Technology, Data Analysis, Data Collection, and Algebra Thinking. Course 1 contains 2–7 Activity Labs per chapter.

142–143 Guided Problem Solving

Guided Problem Solving pages provide additional lessons to help students solve multi-step problems directly related to chapter content. GPS feature pages appear once per chapter.
