There are several things the LORD does. One way to get your heart desire from the LORD is to approach Him on the basis of what He is tied to. Here are a few things the LORD does – first, the Almighty God keeps covenant. (Psalm 89:34). Secondly, He values His word greatly (Psalm 138:2). That is why the scripture says God's word will

not return to Him void, but must accomplish what it sets out to do (Isaiah 55:10-11). Thirdly, His word is powerful (Hebrews 4:12). There are several others which I may share in future if the LORD permits. One way to get you desire is to initiate a covenant with the LORD based on His word. This was exactly what Hannah the mother of prophet Samuel did when she desired to have a child. This was what she said “And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.” (1 Samuel 1:11). That was a very wise move by Hannah. She was very specific on what she wanted. I wish to stop here for now. I shall continue in the next edition, if Jesus tarries. n the last edition, I made it clear that money is needed for effective preaching of the Igospel. I also said there are some groups of women who supported Jesus' earthly ministry with their substance – “1. And it came to pass afterward, that he went

throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him, 2. And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, 3. And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.” (Luke 8:1-3). These women were healed by Jesus. Unlike the nine out of the ten lepers Jesus healed in Luke chapter 17, these women decided to identify with the LORD Jesus and went everywhere with him. They were not preaching per say, but they ministered unto him of their substance. They made Jesus comfortable while preaching the gospel. I tell you; these women are enjoying their rewards right now before the angels. You too can support the ministry of a genuine man of God with your substance. Identify what he needs and meet it joyfully. I want to drive this point home, even if it means providing food supply for the man of God go ahead, he needs good meals to be very healthy. He can only preach the gospel if he is healthy. If it is a vehicle he needs go ahead and provide it. He needs good mobility to reach the people with the gospel. The point I am trying to make is that there is really nothing personal for a genuine minister. He needs good comfort to be healthy and preach the gospel. I pray that the LORD will give you understanding. I wish to stop here for now. If Jesus tarries, I shall continue in the next edition. Until then remain blessed.

TOPIC: OPEN DOORS PART 3

Revelations 3:8

This is the day that the Lord has made. It is the day of great fruitfulness. He alone will make you fruitful on all sides. Take advantage of the great grace of God to become fruitful so that you will become who God created you to be. God bless you. Shalom.

hen the angel who gave the revelation Wto John the beloved in the Island of Patmos was going to relay the

message of Jesus to the Church in Philadelphia, this was how he introduced Jesus “……These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; (Revelation 3:7).” A couple of things stand out here, first, Jesus is holy, this is an indication that whatever He does is holy. Secondly, He is true. That is to say, He cannot lie and He cannot deceive anyone. Lastly, He has the final say concerning every matter. That is to say, His decision is final. He decides which door to open and when it should be opened. In the last edition I s h a r e d a n e x a m p l e o f h o w t h e LO R D demonstrated that He has the final say with respect to all doors. He opened the prison gates and released Peter against the wish of King Herod and the Jewish people who wanted Peter dead. The word of God makes it clear that, ignorance is one reason why some of God's people are destroyed – Hosea 4:6. I want to assure you that, you will not be stranded if you know what to do at any point in time. It was because the early church knew what to do when Peter was to be killed. They called on the One with the key of David and the prison gates were opened. I decree that from today, no evil door will keep you in bondage, and no good door will be shut against you, in Jesus name. I pray that the LORD will continually be attentive to your cry and your prayer for help, in Jesus name.Everything in life can only be accessed through a door, in most cases these doors are not physical, but they exist. In the real sense you cannot move from one level in life to a higher one except you go through a door. This door can be a human vessel that God positions for you. You need to go through the right door to break into a new business; you need to go through the right door to enter a city. I want to make it clear to you that except the LORD is on your side you cannot access any good door. Jesus made it clear to us that He is the one “that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth” I pray that the LORD will open the right door for you at that right time, in Jesus name.

In this edition I want to share another example of God's wonder in doing the miraculous. It is the case of the children of Israel when they went from Egypt to the promised land. Their release from Egypt was a miracle in itself. Pharaoh was determined to keep them in bondage in perpetuity, but God intervened, through great signs and wonders He opened the gate of Egypt and brought them out with a mighty hand. The LORD did that because of His love for them and in line with the covenant he had with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – “But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.” (Deuteronomy 7:8). No amount of negotiation would have secured freedom for the children of Israel. On the other hand, the children of Israel could not have left Egypt by fighting because they were no match for Egypt. Egypt was the super power then. In the days of Joseph, when there was famine in the world, through the manifold wisdom of God Joseph managed the economy of Egypt and the rest of the world were coming to Egypt to buy grains. The children of Israel wanted to leave Egypt, but the door was shut against them. It took the mighty hand of God to open the door of Egypt to set Israel free from bondage. Once again, I decree that the mighty hands of God will deliver you from every bondage and, open every door shut against you and, you will walk into freedom today, in Jesus name. Your bondage is over. The first time Moses and Aaron approached Pharaoh to demand the release of the children of Israel they performed some signs before Pharaoh to prove to him that God actually sent them. Pharaoh called his magicians to do similar signs. Pharaoh was not moved by some of the initial signs done by Aaron and Moses because his magicians did same, but at a point the magicians could no longer counter the signs. Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh several times to demand the release of the children of Israel, and each time they went they showed him a sign to convince him, but he did not agree to their request.

Finally, the LORD decided to use the weapon of the blood; He decided to apply the blood of the lamb. – (Exodus 12:1-13). It was on the night that the blood of the lamb was applied that the door of Egypt finally opened and the children of Israel walked out into freedom– “And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead. And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.” (Exodus 12:28-31) The children of Israel who were seventy in number when their father Jacob relocated to Egypt when Joseph was the prime minister grew into a nation. They were a nation living in Egypt. They were oppressed, used and maltreated. When they demanded their freedom they were denied, but on that fateful night, after the blood was applied, they got their independence. I have good news for you, you can secure your freedom from bondage through the blood of the everlasting covenant. In the case of the children of Israel it was the blood of a bull, but for us in the new covenant we have the blood of the Lamb of God. You can subdue every stubborn door by the blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God – “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:11). I wish to stop here for now. If Jesus tarries, I shall continue in the next edition by God's grace. Until then take advantage of the blood of the Lamb and possess your God given possession.
