When the fun is over and the food is gone, one question remains: What to do with those BBQ coals? Here are a few tips on how to safely dispose of those leſtover coals: Let the coals cool for several days, then place them in a metal container with the lid tightly closed. To cool the coals quicker, you can fill the container with water before placing them inside. Hot coals should never be placed in metal, plastic, paper or wood containers. Aſter the coals and ash have been cooled, you may place them in your trash can or cart. *Please do not place coals or ash inside your recycling or green waste containers. Waste Management observes the following holidays: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day New Year’s Day *Residential collection service will be delayed one day following the above holidays. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there will be no delays. Our 3 cubic yard INSTA-BIN® Temporary Bin/Dumpster Rental is perfect for smaller jobs, or you may want to purchase a Bagster®. The Bagster® is roughly the same size as an INSTA-BIN® but can hold more weight. It is available for purchase at Lowe’s, Home Depot, or Ace Hardware. Automated Cart ServicesWaste Management o� ers three di� erent sizes of wheeled carts- 35 gallons, 64 gallons or 96 gallons- letting you select the size that works best for you.

If you would like to request a di� erent sized cart, or if yours is damaged or broken, please contact Customer Service. Please have your

current cart size available. The size can be found in the fi rst two digits of the imprinted serial number.

Additional CartsAvid recyclers can request additional recycling carts and green waste carts for a small fee. There is a charge for each additional trash cart. To obtain additional carts, please call our Customer Service Center at(949) 642-1191.
