Man, is it hot. How hot is it? I bought some bread and before I got home it was toast!

How hot is it? I saw a chicken lay an omelet!

I hope this message finds all of you doing well and staying healthy, social distancing and masking up before you go out. We are now over 100 days of isolation and no visitation. I don’t think any of us were prepared for how long this has lasted, but are all doing our best and making the most of it.

Please know that your culinary team is working very hard to offer new and more varied items to your menu. Also, know that Stephanie is turning herself inside out coming up with new and innovative ideas to keep everyone active, involved and included.

During this isolation process, everyone is susceptible to depression. It is difficult in times like this not to fall into a negative cycle. It could be sparked by the news that we all watch, the conversations we have with others, or simply just trying to cope with the stress of

being cooped up. It is crucial to look for the opportunity to help one another and, in turn, help yourself. Stay in tune with your circle of friends and neighbors. People are struggling all around us. A kind word or two will go a long way. Be a difference maker.

Sheila Tybor Sheila Tybor is Irish, spunky, and excited to get to know everyone. She is from Houston,Texas but has lived a few places, including Canada, Richmond, VA and had a beach home in Galveston. She married Arthur, her college sweetheart, who was a Polish Philosophy professor. They were blessed with 4 beautiful children – 2 boys and 2 girls, as well as 4 grandchildren. Sheila worked for the Girl Scouts of America and was even able to visit Europe with her troop. Her hobbies include exercise, crosswords, and she is interested in learning more about our other activities. We are so glad that you are part of our family Sheila!

You have heard of “Christmas in July” – but, why only Christmas? Stephanie is excited to host “It’s So Hot Halloween”!

We will be dressing up in our Halloween costumes July 6th – 10th and you should, too!

Bella’s UpdateBella sure does miss everyone, but as you can see, she is following all safe-at-home orders like a good girl. She is spending her time meditating, staying in shape, swimming, playing with her favorite little girl Harper and wearing her mask when it is time to go out. Bella sends her love to all and looks forward to seeing all of you very soon.
