49. When using the Enhanced Server, if the print Job is sent from MacOSX, the job is deleted because of Login error.

50. BrowserLauncher Icon is displayed even if "Invalid" is selected in Web Browser Setting.

51. When MFP is managed by MyPanel Manager, "Please wait" keeps displaying and MFP hangs up if users log out while

starting the OpenAPI Application from Fax/Scan screen.

52. ”C-E002" occurs if confirm the "Send" of the Job Details while createing the uploading the file for Combine sending.

53. On the MFP with Management Device2 is installed, Panel lock occurs if users log out on the enlarge Display Mode under

the following setting.

"Web Browser" is selected on Priority Mode in System Auto Reset.

54. When saving the file document in User Box by Web browser, the User Box Button is selected if it changes to Fax/Scan

screen after input Box No.by "Enter User Box No."

55. If printing PC Print job after output the sample copy for Brightness, the image becomes bright.

56. IU/DC Counter is not updated if turn ON the main switch with the front cover opened.

57. The display language for Browser Application that selected by Language Selection setting of MFP is displayed even if

select the display language by MyPanel Manager.

58. CSRC E-mail (Two way) Warning notice program is changed.

59. The print image is abnormal if overlay data is included in the PCL file.

60. If “OK” button is not touched after NVRAM is replaced to New NVRAM, after a while, C-D390 occurs.

61. If sending and receiving the G3-Fax with Type2 of Image Log Transfer, transfer image is counted as FAX job.

62. When Fax Board is not unset, Job is deleted if sending PC-FAX with Prefix/Suffix.

63. It is printed as A4 Size even if printing the job with except A4 Size using PullPrint Application under the following setting.

Print>Stamp/Composition>Page Number : "Yes"

64. Even if the output tray1 is specified and printing the job with SRA3 Size using PullPrint, the job is exited to the output tray2.

65. Toner empty and Toner-low warning may be continuously transmitted every one minutes when CSRC is connected by

FAX communication.

66. Toner empty and Toner-low warning may be repeatedly transmitted to CSRC Server.

67. If sending the E-mail with "SHA-256" by S/MIME, the E-mail is send with "SHA-1".

69. On the MFP with Vendor 2 is installed, if money shortage occurs while printing the web page and job is deleted, the

following information is not erased.

70. If using the following firmware, Scan to Home fails if using the Enhanced Server authentication.

1. If using the presets that set at “Gray Scale” and printed on MacOSX 10.6, the following Conflict Error is displayed when

you change the Paper Size. [PEBJTH10003794]

“The destination paper,[Paper Size], is not available when Select Color is set to Gray Scale.”

2. On the MacOS 10.5/6 environment, if you print a document several times with the FileMaker 11, the operation of

application may become slow. [PEBJFO11004691, PEBJTH10008808]

(We confirmed that this issue is caused by the print processing of FileMaker 11. It is possible to prevent this symptom

about the print until 15 times with this driver.)

3. Slow response when bringing up the Print Dialog Window in a Novell Netware i-Print environment. [PEBAU_10000458]

4. Printer driver properties are slow to open on MacOS10.5/6. [PEBGB_10000789]

5. When using the printer driver under 64bit Windows, Popup window (“User Authentication/Account Track” dialog box etc.)

coming up behind current open application. [PEBUS_10000271]

* Functional restrictions

After Popup window is come up, if you do not click on the screen or you do not enter the necessary information in the

Popup window and open another application, the application window is coming up behind the Popup window.

6. FileMaker 11 crashes when printing from MacOS10.5/6. [RIBF__10001827, PEBAU_10000833]

7. When we set “Italic” of “Bold Italic” for Water Mark font and try to print Overlay file with text information, the text of Overlay

file is also printed with “Italic” font.

8. Two-byte characters or Space are not entered in User Name for User Authentication on MacOSX.

3. Functional restrictions

3.1. Functional restrictions

1. When printing PDF file (A3/A4 mixed original) from Acrobat (Acrobat Reader) Ver.8 from PS driver, all pages are printed on

A4 size papers.

[Countermeasure]

Properties of PS driver> Advanced> PostScript Pass through: "Disable"

2. When switching Authentication Method (General Settings) from "ON (MFP)" to "ON (External Server)", user name that was

registered on MFP is displayed on the operation panel. If you login to the MFP using this user name, authentication failure

occurs.

[Procedure to switch from MFP Authentication to External Server Authentication]

1. Set "General Settings" to "OFF" and clear the user's data.

2. Set "General Settings" to "ON (External Server).

3. When editing or saving a Phone book data (CSV file) using Excel, over 12-digit Fax number is saved as Scientific

(e.g.1.23457E+19). (This is a problem on Excel side.)

If you use the Phone book (CSV file) that was edited or saved using Excel, please confirm the Fax number before you

send a Fax job.

4. If you print large file from XPS driver, "Connection Timeout" may be indicated when MFP receives the data, and "Deleted

Due to Error" may occur. (This is a problem on OS side.)

[Countermeasure]

To avoid this problem, please set the driver to the following condition.

Configure Port (Printer Driver> Properties> Ports)

Protocol > LPR

LPR Setting > LPR Byte Counting Enabled

5. If Original Orientation of application is different from Original Orientation of Driver when printing the job from FAX driver, TX

result may be different from preview of Cover Sheet.

Please set Original Orientations of application and Driver in the same direction.

6. If printing or displaying a large file from MFP Web Browser, error message may be displayed and you may not be able to

print or display the file.

7. If there is Ajax description that is not supported by MFP on Ajax-enabled Website, the web page may not be displayed

correctly on the MFP panel. When opening Google Map, “Loading..” may keep displaying. (It is possible to operate on the

MFP panel.)

8. When sending a job with the following settings, the job is stamped with black even if you set stamp with color.

- Set “Grayscale” and “Compact PDF” format.

- And set “Stamp Composition” to “Image”. (omit Preset Stamps)

9. If you perform post inserter selection from Application> Sheet/Cover/Chapter Insert> Cover Sheet> Back Cover> Back

(Blank) and print a job on the MFP with Post Inserter (PI-505) is installed, the followings “Parts Counter (Fixed)” are not

counted up in Service Mode.

- Tray lift motor/ UP

- Tray lift motor/ LW

10. After installing Vender, “Group” and “Program” that were registered when uninstalling the Vender are displayed.

*(After installing the Vender, it is impossible to perform new registration of “Group” and “Program”.)

11. In PageScope Web Connection, if you click the following menu buttons before the screen is displayed completely, white

screen may be displayed.

This symptom occurs in the following screen.

12. In PS driver, when setting the followings at the same time, overlay image is shifted from set Binding Margin value and

If the firmware is GC6-57 or former, the following symptom occurs.

When upgrading to this firmware, please perform the following procedure.

If turn ON the main switch for the first time (only first time) after upgrading this firmware, “The Arp of any IP address other

than IP address that is set is sent” occurs. [PEBJKK09005573, PEBJKK09006549, PEBJAC09004039, PEBNZ_09001091]

This symptom does not occur when turning ON the main switch for second times or more.

1. After upgrading the firmware, remove a network cable from the MFP before turning ON the main switch.

2. Turn ON the main switch and the sub power switch.

3. After “Ready to copy.” is displayed, insert the network cable.

Use USB memory to install. For the details, see the Service Manual.

Conditions for USB memory which can be used for updating the firmware are as follows.

- Capacity 1GB to 2GB are recommend

- Compatible with to USB2.0

1. Set the number of documents in the Memory RX User Box to 200 or fewer.

Attention: In 2nd Version “Function Version2”, the number of documents where the compulsory memory RX user box can

be saved has been enhanced from 200 to 500.

If you downgrade the version without setting the number of documents to 200 or fewer, it is impossible to perform

Memory RX.

2. If “E-mail Address” has been set to the Destination of IP Address FAX, change the Destination to “IP Address”.

Attention: In 2nd Version “Function Version2”, it is possible to set the Destination of IP Address Fax to “E-mail Address”.

3. Delete OCR Dictionary data for Searchable PDF in Service Mode.

2. If 3rd ver. movie data has been installed, delete it in Service Mode.

3. Install 2nd ver. movie data to the MFP.

When downgrading, please select “NO” for “PRINTER” as below.

4.5. How to install Loadable Device Driver

1. Save “A0P0FW.tar” file to root directory of USB memory.

2. Insert the USB memory to FW installation USB port of MFP.

3. Turn ON the main switch.

4. Version of Loadable Device Driver is displayed on the MFP panel. Press “START” button.

5. When the driver installation is complete, Checksum is displayed on the MFP panel.


7. Select “Authentication Device2” and “Card2” in Service Mode> Billing Setting> Management Function Choice. Press

“OK” button.

8. Turn ON/OFF the main switch.

9. Select appropriate card type in Administrator Settings> User Authentication/Account Track> Authentication Device

Settings.
