Read Across America Week (February 28 through March 4) is an important week at Quarry Lane as we begin to instill the love of reading in our children. This week, you will see some classes having a “read in” for the entire day, others writing poems that mirror the writing of Dr. Seuss and our young children sharing their favorite books. I walked by a classroom this morning where I observed a parent reading her favorite childhood story, Green Eggs and Ham to the children. Pick up your favorite childhood book from the library today and share it with your child. Making memories through reading will instill a love of learning in your child and add to their academic success. Happy Reading! Read Across America

Week (February 28

through March 4) is an

important week at

Quarry Lane as we begin to instill the love of

reading in our children.

This week, you will see some classes having

a “read in” for the entire day, others writing

poems that mirror the writing of Dr. Seuss

and our young children sharing their

favorite books.

I walked by a classroom this morning where

I observed a parent reading her favorite

childhood story, Green Eggs and Ham to the

children. Pick up your favorite childhood

book from the library today and share it with

your child. Making memories through

reading will instill a love of learning in your

child and add to their academic success.

Happy Reading!

Sincerely,

Dr. Sabri Arac
