Further implementation by the client
• Pilot/implementation at the main EU site
• Internal consultation (e.g R&D)/ decision to implement globally
• Stoffenmanager® - the main system for chemicals management
1. 800 raw materials extracted from the company’s ERP database
2. Filtering > trimmed down to some 50 inhalation risk assessments to be made
3. After running Stoffenmanager® approx. 15 exposure scenarios assessed as non-safe.
4. Effect of control measures was calculated for these scenarios and controls were implemented where possible
5. Substitution of a carcinogenic intermediate was successfully piloted by R&D and implemented in production.
6. A chemicals management procedure is prepared and is being
implemented site by site.
