SACRAMENT OF THE SICK The Pastor invites any person who is going to the hospital to receive this Sacrament. Also invited to receive the Sacrament are those who are ill or elderly who cannot come to Church. Please contact the rectory to arrange for the celebration.

SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM (Infant) The sacrament of baptism is celebrated the last Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Upper church. Parents wishing to register their child for baptism are asked to contact the rectory and to speak with a member of the pastoral staff to arrange the date. The instruction class, to which all parents and godparents are invited, is held in the rectory on the Sunday before the baptism at 2:00 PM.

Today we rejoice and celebrate World Day for Consecrated Life. Over the years, many men and women have chosen to live out their baptismal vocation by professing the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience. They do this by joining a religious congregation, a secular institute, or through private vows. We pray for these people the Franciscans of the Primitive Observance and ask God to bless our Church with others who will dedicate their lives to God’s service.

LITHUANIAN INLITHUANIAN INLITHUANIAN INLITHUANIAN INDEPENDENCEDEPENDENCEDEPENDENCEDEPENDENCE CELEBRATIONCELEBRATIONCELEBRATIONCELEBRATION The Lithuanian American Council and the Knights of Lithuania, Council 78 will once again be holding its annual Lithuanian Independence Celebration on Sunday February 19, 2017. It will begin with Mass at 10:30 a.m. in the lower church of Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church. It will be followed by a Lithuanian Sausage Dinner at Corpus Christi Parish Center, 34 Common St. Lawrence, MA. After Dinner music will be provided on Classical Guitar by Jonas Kublickas and Andrius Masilionis two rising stars from Lithuania. The donation for the meal is $12.00. Next weekend is our monthly food collection for our neighbors in need. Please bring your nonperishable food to Mass next weekend or to the Rectory during the week.

Currently we are in need of rice, dry or canned beans, macaroni & cheese, crackers, beef stew, powder milk, peanut butter, jelly, Spaghettio's, Bottled pasta sauces, canned

Soups, meat, vegetables, fruit and cereal. Our council would also ask that any donations of food NOT BE OPEN, NOR OUTDATED, and please NO DENTED CANS.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES Classes are held at the Parish Center from 10:00am– 11:30am on Sundays as scheduled. New students are welcome throughout the school year. You may bring your child /children to the parish center and register before classes begin. Additional material regarding the program may be found at the ramp entrance of the church and at the parish office. ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY If you would like to make a donation for the poor please put your offerings during the year for our parish’s St. Vincent de Paul Society in an envelope marked as such. [“St. Vincent de Paul”, “for the poor” or “for the needy”] or use the envelopes that we have available in the upper Church and put it in the collection.

Next weekend we celebrate the World Marriage Day 2nd Sunday in February

February 12, 2017 World Marriage Day honors husband and wife as head of the family, the basic unit of society. It salutes the beauty of their faithfulness, sacrifice and joy in daily married life. The Parish will celebrate the day by recognizing all married couples with a special blessing at each of the Masses next weekend. Please join us in honoring those who have chosen this particular life of dedication through the sacrament of marriage.

Youth Mission – “Feeding the Beast, who is feeding on YOU!” Monday, February 13th, 7:30-8:30 PM at St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex St., Andover Fr. Ray Dlugos, OSA, Ph.D. and Vice President for Mission and Student Affairs at Merrimack College will address how to balance our cultural need for immediate gratification with God’s desire that we live life to the full. This talks is geared to teens in grades 9-12. Parents are also welcome. We are asking a free will donation of a canned good for Lazarus House. Fr. Ray holds a doctorate in Counseling Psychology, speaking and writing about the integration of spirituality and psychology based on clinical experience. podamos dejar de enviar sus sobres. Díganos cuánto tiempo va a estar ausente y se reanudará envíos a su regreso. Si desea mantenerse al día con lo que está pasando en la parroquia, estaremos encantados de enviar el boletín a la dirección de invierno.

SOCIEDAD SAN VINCENTE DE PAUL Si desea donar dinero para los pobres, por favor ponga sus ofrendas durante el año para la Sociedad San Vicente de Paúl de nuestra parroquia en un sobre marcado como tal ["St. Vincent de Paul "," para los pobres "o" para los necesitados "] o usar los sobres que tenemos disponibles en la Iglesia de arriba y póngalos en la colecta.
