Our 2018 Corporate Social Responsibility Report summarizes our “culture of giving back” and the actions that define that culture. What drives us at Lamp Rynearson? We seek a balance focused on people, planet and profits. PEOPLE – Employee development is a mainstay of our direction and includes encouraging volunteering from all staff members.PLANET – Our projects last for generations and design must be based on long-term thinking regarding their social and environmental impacts. PROFITS – Defined strategies are implemented that increase business allowing us the good fortune to share profits with civic, professional and charitable organizations.Having worked with our talented team of employees at each of our office locations, I realize the importance and opportunities leadership

brings. Leadership not just from a few, but from many. This leadership is present not only in our day-to-day work, but also as illustrated in the efforts we take on as volunteers, and through the profits we are fortunate enough to share in the form of donations. Being president of this firm is an honor. Enjoy our report. Visit us. Work with us. Join our team. Let’s “Live the Legacy” together.

PLANETThe AtlasThe creation of a 40-acre urban watershed in view of an updated hospital converted into over 700 apartments is one of the sustainable designs incorporated into The Atlas. In addition, a large, impervious parking lot has been replaced with a green “front lawn” used by residents. Located near the Creighton University campus and highlighted by a large pedestrian walking bridge spanning the Interstate, the Atlas’ city location is truly walkable - near churches, Midtown Crossing, Turner Park, NoDo and Gifford Park, encouraging further neighborhood redevelopment.

Town Fork Creek Neighborhood Sewer RehabilitationIn 2018, Lamp Rynearson was tasked with evaluating and creating a rehabilitation plan for small sewer mains throughout the Town Fork Creek neighborhood of Kansas City, MO. This project, associated with the Federal Consent Decree, is part of Kansas City’s Overflow Control Program – the largest infrastructure investment in Kansas City’s history. The goal of this program is to reduce harmful pollutants entering streams and rivers by reducing overflow events from combined sewer systems and improve the overall health of Kansas City’s water resources.
