The rising trend in corporate social responsibility has had a significant impact on major corporations, nationally and worldwide, and pro bono is quickly becoming an important aspect of that trend.  The CPBO ChallengeSM 100 is an important first step toward making pro bono an integral part of the culture at all in-house legal departments. It gives in-house legal departments the opportunity to build on existing CSR programs, while enabling in-house attorneys to use their unique and vitally important skill set for the greater good. The Challenge 100 is an important milestone that recognizes the stature and leadership of companies that have committed to the Challenge and seeks to increase momentum and pro bono culture within the corporate community.
