The Palacio Neptuno Palacio Neptuno is originally from the beginning of this century and is one of the exclusive buildings of Madrid. It was a part of the palace and gardens of Medinaceli´s Duke. Palacio Neptuno was recently renovated but still keeps the essence of the previous structure to hold the principle events and acts of Madrid. Nowadays, Palacio Neptuno is considered one of the most important and exclusive venues for holding events in the capital. It’s outstanding location, a mere few metres away from the Palacio de Neptuno and El Museo del Prado, and also with its modern design and infrastructure, makes the palace one of the most vanguards venues of the city. The facility has three principal rooms: an auditorium, open terrace, welcome hall and VIP room. These rooms have the capacity to accommodate 600 people comfortably or to use one floor for cocktails and presentations starting from 70 people.

Venus Room This room is the largest in the palace. It has an outstanding hall, impressive windows and views of the hotel palace. It is twelve metres in height and is equipped with a glass dome. It was built by the artist Manuel Ortega and thanks to him; this room is ideal for banquets, gala dinners, presentations, conventions, large cocktail events. Mirador Eunice This room is located on the second floor of the palace and is overlooking the Venus Room. It is accessible from two locations in the palace: the spacious white stairwell or the elevator. The Mirador Eunice room also has large windows and incredible views of the palace hotel; the patio makes the visibility possible from both Venus Room and Mirador Eunice. This room is perfect for cocktail events because it is four meters in height and it is perfectly accessible from the entrance. General Booking Conditions. Important Information. The venues opening fee only includes the use of the rooms booked. Audiovisual, catering and all decorations, doorman, coatroom, cleaning, security, center table decoration, furniture and sound will be invoiced separately from the opening fee. You can only book the services from the homologate catering in Palacio Neptuno. This service includes all the furniture, utensils and cleaning for any catering service. The standard colour of the tablecloth for corporate events is black. If you wish for another colour, ask your account manager. The services marked, as “Exclusive Service” in the Production and Setting Up Brochure, can only be booked with the official supplier of Palacio Neptuno. There are special fees for agencies. Ask for information. The official booking of the venue will be done via transfer 50% of the total services. The other 50% will be paid 5 days prior to the setting up or event. -Incase the client cancels the event prior to the event being held, there will be the following penalties deducted from the total: If you cancel with more then 15 days prior to the day of the event, you will have a penalty of 100% of the amount paid. If you cancel between 2 and 15 days prior to the day of the event, there will be a penalty of 85% of the total amount paid. If you cancel with less then 5 days of the event, you will have a penalty of 100% of the total agreed amount. Professional event assistance is included. The last day to close the number of people attending the event is 10 natural days. Fees don’t include taxes. It’s notified that certain menus are only for companies or social events. The menu tastings are free for up to 4 people for events larger then 100 people. To request the menu tasting’s, it must be done 1 week in advance. To make changes on the menu, it’s a minimum 10 days prior to the event. Setting up days has a cost of 50% of the venues opening fee. The schedule for events at the Palacio Neptuno is from 9:00am to 2:00am. The schedule for setting up is from 9:00am to 8:00pm. Consult for the supplement if your setting up or tearing down the event is out of the schedule or during weekend or holidays. All the materials left behind after the event will be considered waste. At any case the catering or the venues will be responsible for the materials left behind before, during or after the events.
Palacio Neptuno offers free Movistar fiber optic Wifi for informal network use. If your event requires a guaranteed professional Internet high-speed network, ask your account manager for more information. * The Internet network is not guaranteed and is dependant on the external operator performance. Palacio Neptuno will not be responsible for the poor network connection or loss of this free network. To bring in an external audiovisual supplier, booking our venues technical assistance is required. Palacio Neptuno may ask for the clients Social Security Number for anyone that is working at the venue. Also, Civil Responsibility Insurance of the company with the receipt of the date paid. If you do a 10-day pre booking of any date for your event, it is mandatory to send an email with a pre-booking request to [email protected]. Once those 10 days are expired, that date will be automatically expired (without notice) only if the extension of the request has been done via email. The official booking will only be done with the payment of 50% of the complete services. See details in the Production and Setting Up Brochure. -All fees are for a maximum of one day of service. The quotes for agencies requested directly to the official supplier, will be prepared and sent with net prices directly. The setting up and transportation fees are non commissionable. Security For nighttime events, it is mandatory to book the services of a doorman (during the entire event). For events open to the public, it is mandatory to hire security of the Palacio Neptuno depending on attendees, type of event and rooms booked. Extraordinary Cleaning Services The venue is provided completely clean, if you wish for extra cleaning services for during or after your setting up or for box collection, carpet pieces etc., you can request this special service 24 hours prior to the event. Open Bar, Performance, DJ and Dancing For open bar events, it is mandatory to hire one security guard per each 150 people. Each room of the palace has a maximum sound allowed. Ask your account manager for the possibilities for each floor. After 11:00pm the only soundproof floor for DJ, dancing and performance is Calipso room with a maximum capacity of 300 people. Performance shows that include fire, wild animals or those performances that includes risk are not allowed with any exceptions. DJ or sound equipment must be booked with the official supplier of Palacio Neptuno.
