I’ve been a student at Cornell since October 2009. When I came to NZ I was looking for a school that had qualifi ed teachers and provided suffi cient space and motivation to develop my skills in English. Not surprisingly, my English has improved signifi cantly and the reason is my teachers! Here I have been able to associate with teachers who are not only kind and friendly but have supported me in my endeavours. In addition, the environment is stimulating yet relaxed; the small classes provide a lot of individual attention and focus on my particular needs. Actually this makes all the difference especially as I have been able to compare Cornell with other schools that I visited earlier. All these factors have contributed enormously to developing my English speaking skills properly. I am sure that I will achieve my goals at this Institute and I am very grateful to my teachers for what they have done toward developing a new language. This experience is not only academic but a life experience!!

Hi, I’m Marcelo. I’m a student of Culinary Arts Level 4 at Cornell Institute. Since I started the class in October 2009, I’ve enjoyed learning the skills required in international culinary, especially now that we have practical hours in the kitchen. All the tutors and staff are extremely helpful not only with aspects related to our school but for their advice in areas relevant to new immigrants where change and new ideas are constantly arising. When you study the culinary arts you get to learn and enjoy a range of meals from European to Asian food. For any new students thinking of joining us, get ready to learn and enjoy!

For a one year now, I have been studying at Cornell Institute and am impressed by the tutor’s ability to effectively educate students in IT. During the course we’ve done numerous subjects and all of them explicitly address needs in the IT market. Moreover, all of them fi t in well with the education process. The teacher’s skills and

ability to explain modern approaches in Development and Project management for foreigners is absolutely perfect. I would not have had time to educate myself as I have at Cornell Institute. Personally, I have found not only comfortable environment for education but effective and progressive communication between students and lecturers. In addition, I want to say, that the fl exible approach in education is perfectly realised at Cornell with Summer School lessons and a timetable that is suitable for people who have a part time job.

My name is Peng Fang. I am so glad to have studied at Cornell Institute of Business and Technology. I got my PR, together with my boy friend without a job offer after completing my level 6 Diploma in Computing. Then I continued to study the level 7 course and fi nally I got my bachelor degree from Charles Sturt University. This qualifi cation made it easy for me to enroll in the Master of Computing course at Unitec.

New Zealand has become a popular choice for students wanting to learn English or further their higher education.

Recently I completed my NATIONAL DIPLOMA OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT LEVEL- 5 from Cornell Institute of Business and Technology. Cornell offers fl exible intakes into their higher education courses, making it easier for international students to get organised with their applications and visas. The New Zealand education system is based on the British system with internationally recognised qualifi cations.

Cornell Institute of Business and Technology offers world-class facilities with small classes, which are very welcoming combined with a friendly atmosphere, and excellent lecturers and administration staff.
