We search for lost people of all ages workingwith the NYS Police, County Sheriff, Local Police, Fire Departments, and the NYS DEC Forest Rangers. - Stuttering is a frustrating and embarrassing problem for millionsof people, but it can be especially tough on elementary school-age children. Help is available for parents, teachers, and speech-language pathologists at most public libraries in the form of aDVD designed to help school-age children who stutter. Some li-braries have an older video version. The DVD features studentsfrom first through sixth grade, some of whom talk about their ex-periences with stuttering. They talk openly about the teasing theyface from classmates and how their stuttering sometimes makesthem feel about themselves. The 38-minute DVD, entitled Ther-apy in Action: The School-age Child Who Stutters, produced bythe 67-year-old nonprofit Stuttering Foundation is available freeof charge to public libraries nationwide.
