b. The measuring and monitoring of radiation ALARA principles - 5 hours c. Regulations for the user of nuclear gauges - 7 hours d. Health effects of ionizing radiation - 6 hours e. Radiation emergencies - 5 hours f. D.O.T. regulations -3 hours g. Misc. procedures and forms h. Hands on; sampling, signage, barricades, calculations, etc. i. Exam
The instructor was Dr. Michael Hensley, Radiation Specialist.
2. Mark was also instrumental in developing and implementing the Cloud Peak Energy radiation standard and program. Mark has received fixed gauge training on site and the subject is also included in our annual refresher class. We complete 8 hours, annually.

Mr. Tomer,
We have received your RSO amendment request for your NRC license, 49-29429-01/030-38475, dated December 10, 2014. We are requesting additional information:
1. Documentation of the RSO Services, Inc. course outline for the subjects covered in the 40 Hour Radiation Safety Officer Training Course, listed a taken by Mark Dunn on 10/10/2011.
2. Any documentation of specific training for fixed gauges that Mr. Dunn may have taken. This could have been provided by the gauge manufacturer, in-house training or previous employment at a facility where he used/trained on fixed gauge uses/operation.
As soon as we receive the requested additional information, we can proceed with the amendment review request. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
