Multiplying Fractions
• To multiply fractions, multiply the numerators and multiply the denominators.
• Example: Arithmetic • 2/5 x ½ = 2 x 1 = 2/10

• If the numerator and denominator have a common factor, we can simplify before we multiply.

• Find 1/3 x ¾ 1 x ¾
