AboutKentucky WildKarts is a non-scripted Reality TV series about a rural coal-mining community that’s obsessed with family, god and most of all, Racing. Before a career in NASCAR, you have to win on rural dirt go-kart tracks predominantly scattered across the Deep South. In the deeply religious town of Manchester in Clay County, Kentucky, population 22,000, family time is race time. Friday nights are spent at the kart track getting warmed up for Saturday’s race. Young, old, male, female. The only way to earn respect is to win. Down here racing isn’t just a hobby it’s everything. And tempers are the only thing that gets hotter than the engines. The show will follow multiple families’ day-to-day lives and explore their individual stories about life in the rural Deep South, their personal struggles, religion, every family’s mutual love for Racing & the heated competition and rivalries that exist at the track.
