Youmay check Emails, access onlineofficesystemswithout limitationofyourwhereabouts.BYOD is showingusaprevalentofficingsceneforpresentandthefuture.As about the enterprises' phone systems, from the circuit switched legacy PBX with analogphonestoIPPBXwithIPphones,andthentotheprevalenceofBYOD,integratingtheenterprises'phonesystemwiththesmartphonesisjustaroundthecorner.JustthesameasyoucheckEmailsand access online office systems, youmay bring your office extensionwith you anywhere youwant,andanswerandmakephonecallsthroughyourofficeIPphonesysteminacafe,atairportandevenabroad.ThiscouldbedonebyZYCOOCooVoxseries(v3.1.0software)withthefreenewsoftphoneAPPCooCall(v2.0.2).CooCall is thesoftphoneAPPdedicated forZYCOOCooVoxseries IPphonesystem. InstallationandSetup

CooCallInstallation

OpenAPPStoreonyouriPhoneandsearch“CooCall”todownloadit.Afterdownloading,therewillbeaCooCalliconcreatedonyourphonescreen,taptorunit.


PermissionSettings

OnthefirsttimestartupofCooCall,thefollowingpermissionsneedtobegrantedforCooCalltofunctionnormally.l PermissionstoaccesstheInternet

Please tap “WLAN&Cellular” toallowCooCall access Internet fromanywhere there’s Internetconnection.OtherwisephonecallwillnotworkwithoutInternetconnection.l Permissiontosendnotifications

Please tap “Allow” to allow CooCall send you notifications. The CooVox serieswill try to sendnotificationtoyouriPhoneuponincomingcallwhenyouriPhonescreenislockedortheCooCallAPP is not running in foreground. Once notification received it will wake up CooCall for theincomingcall.Ifyouchoose“Don’tAllow”,you’llnotbeabletoreceiveanyincomingcallswheniPhonescreenislockedortheAPPisnotrunninginforeground. l Permissiontousemicrophone


Please tap “OK” to allow CooCall use iPhone’smicrophone, so the other side could hear yourvoiceduringaphonecallusingCooCall.l Permissiontoaccesscontacts

Youcouldchoosetoallowordon’tallowCooCallaccessyourcontacts.Ifallowed,youcoulddialthecontacts’numberfromCooCallusingyourofficeIPphonesystemtrunklines.Ifdon’tallow,themobilephonecontactswillnotbeaccessedbyCooCallandthe“Contacts”->“MobilePhone”screenwillbeblank.NoticeIfyouchoosetoallowCooCallaccessingyourmobilephonecontacts,thecontactsinfowillonlybeusedlocallyontheAPP,theIPphonesystemwillnotbeabletoaccessyourcontactsthroughCooCall.Onlythecontacts’numbersyoudialedwillgeneratecallhistoryontheIPphonesystem,butonlythenumbers,nothingelse.


AccountSettings

Afterthepermissionsettings,you’llseetheinitialsetupscreenofCooCall.

TapthescanbuttontoscanyourextensionQRcodethentheaccountsettingswouldbedone.BeforeyoucanscantheQRcode,CooCallrequiresthepermissiontoaccessthecameraofyouriPhone.

Please tap “OK” to allowCooCall use your iPhone’s camera to scan the extensionQR code forextension registration. If you have the QR code image in your photo album, youmay tap the“Album”buttononthetoprighttolocateandscantheQRcodeimagefromphotoalbum.


Contacts

ThecontactsfeatureofCooCallcanintegratecontactsofyourcompanyphonebookstoredintheIPphonesystem,theextensionlistandyourmobilephonecontactsforyoutocallthesecontactsfromCooCallthroughtheIPphonesystem.Andtheinboundcallsofthesecontactswillalsoshowtheircontactinfoontheincomingcallscreen.

PhoneSystem

The contacts list on “Phone System” screen are from your IP phone system, CooCall candownloadthecontactsofyourIPphonesystemphonebooktoyouriPhone.Youmayclicktodialthesecontacts’numbersfromCooCallandwhenthesecontactsdial intoyourIPphonesystemandthecallsreachyourextensiononCooCall,itwillalsodisplaythecontactinfo.

TheContactslistwillbeintegratedwithCooCallonceyouhavetheextensionnumberregistered.Userscouldslidedownfromthetopofthelisttorefreshthewholelist.Taponacontacttoviewthecontactdetails.


If this is a frequent contact, please tap the button to add the contact to the “Favorites”

menu.

If youwish todial thisnumberplease tap the button.Beforedialing,youcouldchoose to

addprefixandthendialthenumber.


Tap“AddPrefix”andthenumberpadwillshowup,addprefixbyusingthenumberpad,afterthistap“Dial”todialthisnumber.Aboutwhichprefixesshouldbeused,itdependsonhowyouaregoingtocallthisnumberfromtheIPphonesystem,ifyouarenotsureaboutthis,pleasecontactthesystemadministrator.NoticeAdd prefix before dialing a numberwill not change the contact’s number of IP phone systemcontacts.CooCallwillnotmodifythecontactsbyanyothermenuseither.


MobilePhone

TointegratethecontactsofthemobilephonewithCooCall,youshouldgranttheaccesstoyourcontactsonthe initial startupofCooCallAPP.Otherwisepleaserun“Settings”andfindCooCallandenablecontactsaccessasshownbelow.

GrantaccesstoContacts


Ifthere’sanyupdateofyouriPhonecontacts,pleaseslidedownfromthetopofthelisttorefreshonCooCall.Add a contact to “Favorites” menu or dial a contact’s number is the same as mentionedpreviouslyinthePhoneSystemcontacts.NoticeAddprefixbeforedialinganumberwillnotchangethecontact’snumberofyouriPhonecontacts.CooCallwillnotmodifyyouriPhonecontactsbyanyothermenuseither.


Extensions

CooCallcoulddownloadtheextensionlistandmonitortheextensions’real-timestatus.

Users could add the desired extension to “Favorites” menu, and could tap to dial an idleextensionnumbertomakeanextensiontoextensioncall.

CooCalluserscouldaddcontactsfrom“PhoneSystem”,“MobilePhone”and“Extension”menustothe“Favorites”menuforusersbeingabletolocatethefrequentcontactseasilyandquickly.Contactsfrom3differentmenuswilldisplayedseparately,fortheextensions,thereal-timestatuswillstillbeabletobemonitoredhereinthe“Favorites”menu.

To remove a contact from the “Favorites” menu, please tap the button on the contact’sdetailsscreen.


PhoneCalls

ReceiveCalls

WhenCooCall is running in foreground, and if at thismoment there’s incoming call, userswillhearringtoneandseetheincomingcallscreenasbelow.

CooCallwillmatch the caller IDwith the contacts had been integratedwith it. If the caller IDmatched the contact, the contact namewill be displayed as the caller. If no contactmatched,thenitwilldisplaythecallerIDonly.Usercouldeither takethiscallbytappingthe“Accept”buttonorreject thecallbytappingthe“Decline”button.NoticeIn3G/4Gnetwork,itwillconsumearound1MBdataforeachminuteoftheVoIPcalls.


PushNotificationandCallKit

Push Notification guarantees CooCall can receive incoming calls anywhere and anytime whenthere's Internetconnection.Bydefaultpushnotification isnotenabledontheCooVoxseries IPphonesystem.CooCallusershavetoenableitfromthe"More"->"PushNotification"screen,formoredetailspleaserefertoPushNotification.Youmayalsoenablepushnotificationbyusingfeaturecodes,simplydial"*19",whenyouheara"beep"soundthenpushnotification isenabled.Whenuserswant todisable it, justsimplydial"*019", when you hear a "beep" sound then push notification is disabled. The feature codescouldbechangedbythesystemadmin,youmaycheckitoutonyourextensionuserwebportaloryoumayconsulttheadminuser.Whenthere’sincomingcallandyouriPhonescreenislocked,theincomingcallscreenisasbelow.

Simply slide to answer the incoming call without unlocking the phone screen. When there’sincoming call and the phone screen is unlocked, the incoming call screen is the same asmentionedpreviouslyinReceiveCalls.


MakeCalls

OntheCooCall’s“Dialer”screen,bytappingthe menubuttonyoumaydisplayorhidethe

maindialpad.Byusingthedialpadyoumaydialanumberdirectly.

Thedialpadisusuallyusedtodialnumberswhichdoesnotexist intheCooCall’scontactlist. Ifprefixesneedtobeadded,pleasedon’t forgettouseprefixestodial thenumbers.Except longpressthe“0”keycanentera“+”,otherkeyscanbeonlyshortpressedtoenterdigitsand“*”and“#”.Whenyouhaveenteredthecompletenumber,tapthedialbuttontomakeacall.

If the number entered needs to be modified, please use the button to delete the errordigitsandre-enterthenumber.


CallFeatures

Once an outbound call had been answered by the other party or the incoming call had beenansweredbyyou,itwilldisplaytheincallscreenasshownbelow.

Theotherparty’snameandnumberwillbedisplayedatthetopoftheincallscreen.Beneaththecallernameandcallernumber,atimerofthiscallconversationisdisplayed.Inthemiddleoftheincallscreen,therearesomecallfeatureslike,mute/unmute,onetouchrecording,calltransfer,etc.Atthebottomofthisscreenahangupbuttoncouldbeusedtoterminatethecall.


Mute/UnmuteMicrophone

Wheninalivecall,youcouldmute/unmuteyourmicrophonewhennecessary.Tapthe

buttonyoumaymuteyourmicrophone,and the statusof thebuttonwill change to ,

andatthismomenttheotherpartywillnothearyourvoice.Whenyouwanttounmuteyourself,justtapthe“Unmute”button.

CallHold

While in a live call, if youwant to hold this call, just simply tap on the button, the

other partywill be put on hold andwill hear the holdmusic. You could now deal with someaffairsandresumethecalllater.

Toresumethiscallpleasetapthe onceagain,thecallwillthenberesumed.

OneTouchRecording

Onetouchrecordingisalsoknownasrecordondemand.Whileinalivecallifyouwanttorecord

it,pleasejusttaponthe button.

Once record ison, thebuttonstatuswill change in to to indicateyou that thecall is

beingrecorded.Andtherecordingcannotbestoppeduntiltocallisterminated.


CallTransfer

Calltransferfeaturecouldbeusedtotransferalivecalltoanothernumber.Whileinacall,user

couldtapthe button,andthekeypadwillshowupwithanoptiontosearchcontacts

fromthecontactlist.Youcouldeithermanuallydialthenumbertotransferthecalloryoucoulddialthenumberfromthecontactlistthentotransfer.

Ifyouwishtodialthenumberdirectly,pleaseusethekeypadtodialit,andthehangupbuttonwillthenbecomeadialbuttonforyoutodialthethirdparty’snumber.Ifyouwishtosearchthecontactfromthecontactlistpleaseclickonthe“Contacts”option.


Whenyouselectanumberfromthecontact list,thenumberofthiscontactwilldisplayonthekeypadscreen,thenyoudialitthesamewayasyouenteredthenumberfromthekeypad.OnceCooCallstartedtodialthethirdparty’snumber,theotherpartywillbeputonholdwithonholdmusic.Thetransferinprogressscreenisasbelow.


Oncethethirdpartyanswersthecall,youmayintroducethecallfirst.Ifthethirdpartyagreedtoansweritthenyoutap“CompleteTransfer”button.Thecallwillthenbesuccessfullytransferredtothethirdpartyandyouwillbedisconnectedfromthecall. If the third party rejected to take this call, then you can tap “Abort Transfer” button to aborttransferringthiscall,thethirdpartywillbedisconnectedandtheoriginalcallwillberesumed.Ifyouwant tostopthetransferprocessbefore thethirdpartyanswering thecall,youmaytap“AbortTransfer”toresumethecall,thethirdpartywillstopringingatthesametime.Ifyoutapthe “Complete Transfer” button before the third party answers the call, the call will betransferredimmediately.


Speaker

You could use speakermode tomake and receive phone calls the sameway as you use youriPhonetomakeandreceivephonecalls.

Keypad

Keypad inthecallmenucouldbeusedtodialsomefeaturecodeswhichareavailableduringaphonecall.FormoreinformationpleasechecktheCooVoxseriesExtensionUserManualoryoucanrefertothefeaturecodeshelpinfoontheextensionuserWebportal.And it couldbeusedwhenyoucalling intosomeother IVRsystemswhich requirekeypresses,youmayusethekeypadtoenterthedesiredkeypresses.

Bluetooth

If your iPhone has been connected with Bluetooth headphones, the phone call conversationscouldbehadwiththewirelessheadphonesinsteadofholdinganiPhoneinyourhand.NoticeWe recommend you use Apple AirPods, other Bluetooth headphones may have compatibilityissueswithiPhone.

CallHistory

InCallHistorythereare3kindsofphonecallrecords,outboundcalls, inboundcallsandmissed

calls.Usermayslidedownthelisttoseemorerecordsorcouldtap tohidethedialpadto

viewmorerecords.Callhistoryscreenisshownasbelow.


Tapononeoftherecordsyoumaycheckthedetailedinfoofthiscall.Pleasecheckthediagrambelow.

The calls of the same number on the same day will bemerged into one record. On the callshistoryscreenwill showthe latestcall info.Whenyouviewthedetailsyou’llbeable toseeallcallswiththisnumber/contact.NoticeYoumayslidetothe left todeletearecord,but therecordonthe IPphonesystemwillnotbedeleted.


Voicemail

Whenyouhavenewvoicemail,therewillbearedmarkonthe“Voicemail”menulikethebelowexample.

Taponthe“Voicemail”menutocheckthenewmessage/messages.

Themessageswith redenvelopemarkarenewmessages.Theoneswithgreenenvelopemarkareoldmessages.Andyoumayslidedownthewholelisttorefreshthemessagelist.Taponthenewmessageandyou’llbeabletoplaybackthismessagedirectlyfromCooCall.

Bydefault, thevoicemailswillnotbedownloadedtoyour iPhone, itwillonlygeneratea listofvoicemessages,whenyoutapononeofthemessagestocheckthevoicemessagedetailsitwillthenstarttodownloadthismessage. Oncedownloadedtheplaybuttonwillshowupandyou justhavetotapontheplaybuttontoplaybackthemessage.Ifyouwishtomakeacallbacktothecallerpleasetaponthedialbutton.NoticeVoicemailsareonlytobeviewedbutnottobedeleted.Youmaydeletethevoicemailsfromyourextensionuserwebportal.

Recording

Ifyourextensionhadbeenenabledwithcallrecordingorifyouusedonetouchrecordingfeatureduring a phone call, you’ll be able to check those recordings directly from the “Recordings”screen.Aftereachcall,CooCallwilltrytorefreshtherecordinglist,ifthere’reanynewrecordingsyou’llseearedmarkonthe“Recordings”menuthesameasyougotnewvoicemails.Andit’sthesamewayforyoutocheckandplaybacktherecordingsasthevoicemails.NoticeRecordingscanonlybecheckedandplayedbutcannotbedeletedfromCooCall.

Account

YourextensionnumbershouldbeconfiguredonthefirsttimewhenyoustartupCooCall.When

you want to change an account ormodify the account info, youmay do it on the “More” ->

“Account”screen.

TheaccountcredentialsareallobtainedfromtheextensionQRcodesoyoudon’thavetodoany

manuallysettings.Onlythe“Location”couldbechosenfrom“InsideOffice”and“OutsideOffice”.

Toguaranteeitalwaysworks,CooCalluses“OutsideOffice”bydefault, itwillworknomatter if

youareusing localofficeWLANor3G/4G.But ifyouchoose“InsideOffice” itwillonlywork in

your local officeWLAN. Don’t forget to switch back to “Outside Office” before you leave the

ScanQRCodefromhere


office.

If you are going to change an extension number, please tap the scan button on the top right

corner. After scanning the extension QR code, the extension register status will change to

“Unregistered”pleasetapthe“Register”buttontomakethenewaccounteffective.

Audio

Allsettingsrelatedtoaudio/soundscanbefoundonthe“More”->“Audio”screen,youmayturn

onoroffdialpadsounds,changeringtone,andaudiocodecshere.

Thereare15built-in ringtones foryou tochooseadesiredoneasyour incomingcall ringtone.

Pleasejusttaponthe“Ringtone”menuandthenyou’llbeabletochangetheringtone.


Taponanyoftheringtonesyoumaylistentoitfirst,ifthechosenoneiswhatyouwantthenjust

returntothepreviousmenuandthenewringtonewilltakeeffect.

Abouttheaudiocodecs,normallyyoudon’thavetochangethesettings.Onlychangeitaccording

tothesystemadministrator’sguidance.

CooCallsupportsupto7differentaudiocodecs,bydefaultG.711(ulawandalaw)hasbeenused.


Pleasedonotturnon/offthecodecswithouttheguidanceofthesystemadministratorotherwise

yourphonecallsmayhaveaudioproblems.

PushNotification

WithPushNotification feature yourCooCallwill be able to receive inbound calls even if it’s in

backgroundofyouriPhonewithphonescreenlocked.Bydefault,anewlyregisteredextensionon

CooCall doesn’t have push notification enabled, you’ll have to do it on the “More”->”Push

Notification”screen.

While entering the push notification settings screen, CooCall will try to load current status of

pushnotification (either it’senabledornot), to switchpushnotificationonoroff,CooCallalso

needs to communicatewith the CooVox IPPBX, it will take a few seconds, pleasewait till the


processdone.

The following screen indicates push notification feature is switchedon,whichmeans you’ll be

abletoreceiveinboundcallsbypush.OtherwisewhenyouputCooCalltobackground,itwillnot

beabletoreceiveanyincomingcall.

Except by using the CooCall UI to switch push notification on or off, you can also use feature

codes to turn this feature on or off. Use CooCall or any other phone registered the same

extensionasCooCalltodial*19toenablepush,ordial*019todisableit.Thestatuschangingby

featurecodesalsocanbecheckedfromCooCallUI.
