The use of different colours is to represent the celebratory theme of the music videos.

Props are essential in Hip-hop music videos. Most of the time it gives the genre away because it has become popular in Hip-hop music videos. It is usually use to show that the artist belong to a high status, therefore the use of expensive jewelleries and glasses is to show that the artist a affluent.

Close up shot on each artist when it was their turn to do there verse. This is to signify whose verse it is. This is done in All of the lights and many other Hip-hop Music video so we chose to follow this convention too.

Money is commonly used as a prop in Hip-hop music video to show that the artist are wealthy and finically stable. Artist usually use American dollars in their music video because the Hip- hop genre originated from New York city.
