Many utility possibilities for all requirements

Conventional Rail – Safety on standard routesSafety and comfort are decisive for rail traffic. Our tension clamps provide a stable fastening solution for types of track with a permissible axle load of up to 26 t. The highly elastic components additionally ensure a comfortable journey.

Unconventional solutions for conventional routes Originally the term conventional was used to differ from the narrow gauge railway but today mixed traffic tracks are meant, which are suitable for goods transport and passenger traffic. This diversity of use brings with it con-stant new challenges to rail fastenings. They must cope with high goods loads in order to protect the rail bed and the rail from wear. On the other hand in passenger travel they must provide high travel comfort without rough vi-brations. The highly elastic system solutions by Vossloh satisfy these requirements especially as they reduce un-wanted vibrations. This ensures an even quiet ride, re-duces structure borne noise and prevents ripple forma-tion of the rail surface. Irrespective of whether slab track or ballast bed – the elastic support and flexible rail clamping of our complete solutions guarantee a high de-gree of safety, increase the utility life and save expensive maintenance work.

Unrivalled flexibilityThanks to our intermediate plates and rail pads of cellentic elastomer, the rail elasticity of conventional rail tracks can be flexibly adapted to the different requirements. Our aim is individual fastening solutions that achieve a high degree of operating safety and continuity with a minimum of effort and costs. Whether slab track or ballast bed – thanks to the extent of our range, the Vossloh systems fulfill numerous requirements for new installations as well as for upgrading existing conventional rail tracks.

Conventional Tracks – popular as never beforeConventional rails connect almost every town in Europe, they pass through the tunnels of the Alps and lead on further East – especially in Central and Eastern Europe new lines of this type of track are currently being built. Everywhere where Vossloh long-life fastening systems are installed, the route operators profit from the first day from protection from high investments that are part of our solutions.

Intelligent RepairConventional routes are the result of gigantic investments. All the more important that the existing routes are adapted to the new demands by means of intelligent upgrading measures. In this our retrofittable rail fastening systems are of help – for example by integrated elastic components that significantly reduce rail vibrations and travel shocks.

High Degree of EfficiencyOur solution spectrum for conventional rail on slab track and ballast beds offers traffic operators multiple installation and oper-ating options. Thus, overall costs of infrastructure can be sustainably reduced and their availability is improved. The installation is especially fast and easy for sleepers with pre-assembled fastening systems. The installation is also an important factor for suc-cess on slab tracks. Also in this respect Vossloh sets economical yardsticks – for example by means of Top-Down installations in which the concrete is only poured into the rail bed after successful alignment of the rails and fastening components.
